    2004 Toyota Highlander - Base w/o 3rd (A4) FWD

    Pros: None

    Cons: The whole SUV

Advice: Dont get the base model

To sum it up, I would like to tell Toyota Adios. What a piece of cramp. There are ther SUVs on the market for the same price with much guts than this has and a lot more options for your buck. What a waste of money. I't just over a year old and having all kinds of problems with the windows, tailgate and something loose and rattling under the dashboard. Don't even think about driving it in the mountains, it may or may not make it up the slopes, it just simply says 'not doing this today, don't feel like it.' Seriously thinkin abount Nissan or Jeep, might be more dependable. Thanks Toyota

    2004 Toyota Highlander - Limited V6 w/3rd (A5) AWD

    Pros: The smooth ride.

    Cons: Seat discomfort.

Advice: Rent one for a week to see if your comfort level is high enough.

Great drive. Smooth. Good power. Good mileage. The seats are just too uncomfortable for me. They do not extend far enough under the thigh, making for a very uncomfortable ride. We have had ours for a month. Selling it or trading it. Comfort is too important. If the seats had extenders, like the BMW, would keep the car.

    2004 Toyota Highlander - V6 w/3rd (A5) FWD

Pros: Styling and color-also the 1% TMCC financing!

Cons: Extra power port in front is on the middle of console

Advice: Buy it! You can shop forever and you won't find anything as good for the price!

This SUV (Highlander V6 4WD)drives like a very nice car! It stands to reason since it is built on a modified Camry frame. Powerful, stylish, and it HAS PLENTY OF ROOM FOR ME (and I'm 6'/185lb)! I looked at the Pilot, MDX and the Escape, and this one has much more value built into it. Advise you to buy at a 'No Dicker Sticker' if you have that option in your area. After all of the hastle I've been through to shop around, I am thoroughly satisfied with my Higlander purchase!

    2004 Toyota Highlander - V6 w/3rd (A5) FWD

Pros: The extra 3rd row...You never know it since it is hidden in the floor.

Cons: At this point I don't know.

Advice: Shop around and make sure you check the intenet sales...no hassle with pesty sales people.

Smooth ride...Drives like a car but high like a SUV.
