2007 Toyota Corolla - S (M5)
Pros: Gas Mileage
Cons: The Noise level is higher than what I am used too. 'road/engine' but I am used to more expensive cars.
Advice: If you are looking for a great little 4 dr car this is the one. I love mine I wish it had a little bigger gaas tank but drive anything you want out there and consider the Bang for buck'My wife and I have the 2007 S version and we have had it for 16,000 miles now and we really enjoy it. great mileage decent looks. great price.
2007 Toyota Corolla - CE (M5)
Pros: how well equipped the base model Corolla actually comes.
Cons: nothing we actually liked everything about the car.
Advice: great reilability, and fuel mileage, fantastic resale. We could not find a decent used Corolla here in the Charlotte area.My wife and I just purchased a 2008 Toyota Corolla CE 11/15/07. We were very surprised on how well equipped it came. The only thing we added was cruise control, mud guards, and floor mats which our dealership added for free to sweeten the deal. The car is very impressive and should serve us very well strictly as a commuter car. With the rebate we paid 13,500.00 before TT&L. We plan to keep this car a long time. We looked at the Yaris and Honda Fit. After weighing everything the Corolla was our choice hands down. The cars distinguished long time reliability and low cost service history speaks for itself. A great buy.
2007 Toyota Corolla - S (M5)
Advice: ...I've owned a 2003 and 2007 corolla. The 07 has chipping paint and I bought is less than a year ago. I'm happy with everything else, but this is extremely disappointing.
2006 Toyota Corolla - S (M5)
Pros: Cruise Control,Large Trunk, Legroom
Cons: Interior cloth on seats and doors
Advice: If you want ABS Brakes, look hard to find one as it is an optional item and is not easy to get.I am very happy so far with my vehicle since I've purchased it about 6 weeks ago. Get up and go can be a little slow at times, but when it goes, its gone. I had to get used to the light pedal, because I would hit 85 mph and not realize it (my Camry had heavy peds). The radio controls are a little ways from the drivers position, as is the steering wheel. using the 4 and 8 o'clock position makes it manageable. The interior cloth feels like a washcloth, but has so far been easy to vacuum clean. As far as road noise goes, it is noticeable, but not to bad. The car does sway in high winds and big rig crossings, but what can you do when your cars weighs roughly 16-1700 lbs? The stereo is great, and easy to use. Wish I had gotten a car with the changer though. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase as Ive have been with my Toyotas of past. My gas mileage on average has been about 39-40 mpgs, considering its mostly highway.
2005 Toyota Corolla - LE (M5)
Pros: the radio/cd player
Cons: Loss of control
Advice: Look for a more reliable carMPG is a far cry from the advertising put out by Toyota. In careful city driving, at its optimum it gets 23 miles per gallon. Has never gotten over 30 mpg on the highway. The car surges; and I never know when this will haappen. Removing my foot from the gas pedal does not slow the car down. It continues to accelerate.
2002 Toyota Corolla - LE (M5)
Pros: The Sound System
Advice: This car is everything that describes PERFECT...Expecially for a teenager...always traveling....At 17 I am on my third car.... My parents have bought me a Mazada, Honda, and a Toyota... Out of the Honda and the Mazada, my 2002 Toyota Corolla LE has beaten the both of them in every aspect.... This car is excellent on GAS.... I went 485 Miles without filling up my gas tank... This car runs like a charm, has a great sound system, and most importantly it has a name you can trust TOYOTA... I like hondas alot but I just don't think that the Honda Civic, which I had can beat the overall rating of the Corolla, and even though the Mazada that I had was okay, it don't compare to Toyota or Honda....
2007 Toyota Corolla - LE (M5)
Pros: Contrary to what others have said, I found the ride and gas milage to be good.
Cons: The fact that they seemed to have painted the car with nail polish. No, I take that back, nail polish is much more durable!
Advice: Do not buy.Until you hear a news report about Toyota re-calling these vehicles to replace their cheap-ass paint jobs, DO NOT PURCHASE THIS VEHICLE. Or any other Toyota car for that matter. I bought a brand new 2007, and the paint is chipping off like mad. In 3 months, I have 10 chips on the hood, ridiculas. It's fine to drive, and I had no mechanical problems, but I can't recommend anyone to buy a car with such paint problems.
