Pros: Seating comfort and power train function
Cons: Steering pulling to the left
Advice: Do not accept delivery until you are comfortable with the tracking after test driving.Vehicle from the day of delivery has pulled to the left. One year and 10,000 miles later after multiple trips for service to Dealer (Stoops Toyota, Muncie, IN) this dangerous malfuntion continues. Having owned three new Camry's purchased from this Dealership since 1990 this is a major disappointment.
Pros: Push button controls on the steering wheel and also the sun roof
Cons: No power seats on passenger side--very aggravating
Advice: Be prepared for lots of powerI have already driven my Solara SLE 25,000 miles. Toyota quailty is evident with every detail. Styling is timely, the engine too powerful, trunk is roomy, stereo system is excellent. The vehicle has an extremely small turning radius and is easy to handle. I had some trouble with the tire light coming on especially right after servicing due to the sensitive stability system. Now that this vehicle is broken in, its a keeper. I do wish I could purchase mud flaps as I didn't get the sports package with the mask, but the LE edition. I am very pleased, money well spent. Thank you Toyota--
Pros: The power and acceleration
Cons: the ride is harsh on the SE sport
Advice: If you want a smooth ride choose the LETest drive was short but was very exciting compared with driving the Camry sedan. It is a great looking car and it performs well but needs some refinement in the ride and the handling. The interior is like a Lexus 2005 ES 330,outstanding. For the price, you get what you pay for. That being said, it is a great automobile and toyota has moved the solara up to a higher notch from former models. Just be sure to take a long test drive over bumpy roads and drive the SLE, SE sport and SE to compare the ride of all.
Pros: Roominess for a coupe.
Cons: Really bad blind spots on both sides.
Advice: It's a Camry with 2 doors. How can you go wrong?A solid car from top to bottom. It can be used for commuting as well as a night out of the town. The four cylinder has plenty of power. This car is on a Camry frame, so despite being a coupe, it has alot of room in the back seat and a huge trunk.
Cons: bought 18' wheels from dealer and should have stuck with 17', rides rougher than should
Advice: Stay with original wheelsBeautiful car, good pick-up, getting 21 MPG around town / some highway... Does have blind spots but overall love it... Little more HP wouldn't hurt....
Pros: Sun roof
Advice: Test drive it & you will fall for it!Holds the road real well. Corners effectively. Power is ok.
Pros: Navigation system, heated seats, 3.3 L engine, autostick, gold package
Cons: rear access
Advice: Buy the SLE V6 with curtain air bags, CD, DVD navigationVery smooth 3.3 liter V6. Beautiful leather seats. Very similar to Lexus ES330. Quiet, excellent 7 speaker radio. My car: Absolutely red with Ivory leather interior. XM satellite radio.
