Cons: red backlite on the radio is hard to read
Advice: get the touring package has a lot of options I wish I had gottenI have the CVT transmission which takes a little getting use to but has much better performance and is smoother than the 4 speed auto in the 2009, would've got the manual but I do a lot of stop and go driving. For a small econo car it's got some pep especially in the manual transmission setting. The AWD is great on snow and ice, but had to get snow tires the ones that come with aren't up to handling really bad ice/snow conditions (I live in Colorado)
Pros: AWD; surprisingly alot of power for this little car. :)
Cons: Blind spot on driver's side between side window and front window. Have to really look carefully.
Advice: I'm happy with my purchase; it's small yet comfy. Very economicalAwesome performance; bought it for travelling up to the mtn. Never have had to put on chains...handles great in snow. I'm glad I bought this car!!
Cons: small gas tank; lackluster gas mileage
Advice: Be prepared to visit the gas station more than normal because of the small gas tank. The acceleration and gas mileage could be better, but then I remind myself that it's an AWD vehicle and heavier than your average subcompact. I call it my BABYSUV. So far, there aren't a lot of them on the road where I live, so I get that 'head-turning' effect when I'm driving. I like that! I am sure I will appreciate it even more when it snows.......
Cons: Gas mileage
Advice: take into account the EPA ratings on the sticker mean nothingIt's a great little car....except.... it's to heavy for the small engine, so gas mileage is rather pathetic, that and the teenie weenie gas tank have you getting to know the gas station clerk quite well. It's relatively inexpensive to buy, but remember the xm ready radio will cost you about 550 us dollars at the Suzuki dealer to get XM.
Pros: Keyless entry/start
Cons: No arm rest and the gas tank is to small
Advice: Give it a shot. You won't be dissapointed.I have had the SX4 for about 2 weeks and I'm really glad I made the purchase. I have been averaging 27 mpg. I like the 3-mode AWD. The best thing is you don't need a key to open or start the vehicle just place the transmiter in your pocket and thats it,no fumbling with remotes or keys. The sound system is great, it really kicks out the tunes. It is comfortable enough to take on long trips and is just a fun car to drive. This car is also loaded with every saftey feature you can think of.
Pros: AWD with ESP
Cons: Sub Woofer is cheap
Advice: Try one. You'll like it.Great little car for the money. Handles great. You won't see yourself on every corner. AWD system with ESP works excellent. Pay the extra for the top of the line model. You won't be disapppointed.
Pros: smart pass keyless entry, steering wheel radio controls
Cons: no middle compartment, could use an extra cigarette lighter/ power source
Advice: If you need an AWD but can't afford the big bucks, this is your car.The vehicle handles great. The steering is very tight on the highway and responds very quickly. It does loosen up a bit around when turning but it still handles adequately there too. The acceleration is lacking a little bit but it's plenty to pass cars or make quick turns. I noticed that it seemed to be a little jerky when stepping on the gas but that's slowly improving as the car is broken in. There is a suprising amount of interior room and I love the controls on the steering wheel and the XM radio built in. It could use a compartment between the seats and some features like automatic door locking once you start driving but overall, it's a great value for the money and I highly recommend.
