2007 Suzuki XL7 - Luxury w/o 3rd Row FWD
Submitted on 8/23/2007 7:51:10 AM- Summary
Pros: Remote start
Cons: placement of window controls
Advice: Drive the car and you will buy. They are a good deal for the current selling price
I recently purchased an 07 XL7 I have to dis-agree with what the professionals say. I think it is a good buy. It rides real good, the engine does make a lot of noise. I think it has to do with the type of cooling fan they are using. but it is not that bad. the ride is great nice feel. now if you are going to try and race the car the performance may not be as good, but for what the average driver does it will hold up. it looks good on the inside when driving you can see the road. you do not feel like you are in a truck 10 miles off the ground but in a car. the model we purchased has a DVD, leather, front and rear climate controls, three rows of seats, and what i love a remote start. we got all of this for under 25,000. I think the car is a great deal for the price. and it does not look bad, and it cranks our 252 hp. you can not beat that........

2007 Suzuki SX4 - Base (M5)
Submitted on 6/13/2007 4:13:56 PM- Summary
Pros: AWD
Cons: Gas mileage
Advice: take into account the EPA ratings on the sticker mean nothing
It's a great little car....except.... it's to heavy for the small engine, so gas mileage is rather pathetic, that and the teenie weenie gas tank have you getting to know the gas station clerk quite well. It's relatively inexpensive to buy, but remember the xm ready radio will cost you about 550 us dollars at the Suzuki dealer to get XM.

2003 Suzuki Aerio SX - (M5) FWD
Submitted on 5/10/2007 6:25:31 PM- Summary
Pros: Small size, price
Cons: QUALITY
Advice: Short term (less than two years) buy.
Front lower bumper is weak and comes apart, the brakes shudder and grind (although they've been replaced 4 times), cd player doesn't work, the steering wheel shudders over 65 mph, the electrical system died and had to be replaced and had to obtain a totally new engine -- all with a little over 3 years of ownership.

2007 Suzuki SX4 - Sport (M5)
Submitted on 5/3/2007 1:46:21 PM- Summary
Pros: Keyless entry/start
Cons: No arm rest and the gas tank is to small
Advice: Give it a shot. You won't be dissapointed.
I have had the SX4 for about 2 weeks and I'm really glad I made the purchase. I have been averaging 27 mpg. I like the 3-mode AWD. The best thing is you don't need a key to open or start the vehicle just place the transmiter in your pocket and thats it,no fumbling with remotes or keys. The sound system is great, it really kicks out the tunes. It is comfortable enough to take on long trips and is just a fun car to drive. This car is also loaded with every saftey feature you can think of.

Pros: AWD
Cons: small gas tank; lackluster gas mileage
Advice: Be prepared to visit the gas station more than normal because of the small gas tank.
The acceleration and gas mileage could be better, but then I remind myself that it's an AWD vehicle and heavier than your average subcompact. I call it my BABYSUV. So far, there aren't a lot of them on the road where I live, so I get that 'head-turning' effect when I'm driving. I like that! I am sure I will appreciate it even more when it snows.......
