2002 Suzuki Grand Vitara - JLX (M5) 4x4
Pros: my favorite feature is the automatic lights and rear wipers
Cons: hubcaps on tires are plain
Advice: if you arelooking for an affordable suv with all the features, this is it!!!
I purchased the Grand Vitara v6 2 weeks ago. So far I must say I am very satisfied. It is an affordable SUV. (paid 18,800 total). I think the wheels caps could look nicer. And the cargo area is small. So is the legroom in the back. For a v6 think it should have a quicker take off . I am always afraid of flip over with an SUV. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety rated this vehicle very safe. Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase and would recommend it. -
2002 Suzuki Grand Vitara - JLX (M5) 4x4
Pros: Appearance and the smooth ride. Also has nice pick up on acceleration.
Cons: The arm rests are far too short. It would also be nice to have some covered storage in between the front seats.
Advice: I really liked the idea of having an SUV but I didn't want one the size of a semi truck. The Grand Vitara allows me to have the power and security of an SUV but in a size that's much more comfortable for me.
It had great handling and turning capabilities along with a smooth ride and giddyup. The seats were incredibly comfortable and everything is in easy reach. -
2002 Suzuki Grand Vitara - JLX (M5) 4x4
Pros: Performance
Cons: Cargo Space
Advice: Consider automatic unless you like a lot of shifting
Purchased in '99 my 'Planet Gold' Zuk now has 80K meter and is running strong a new. 5 Speed delivers av. 24mpg. Only repair was oil leak @ 75K in trans seal. Tow my twin engine jet boat over the Cascades with no problem. Handles like a 'Go Kart'. Paint, interior is holding well. Solid little truck thats fun to drive. The XL7 solves cargo issues and added rear seat room. A great value.
