2003 Suzuki Aerio SX - (M5) FWD Hatchback

    Pros: Small size, price

    Cons: QUALITY

Advice: Short term (less than two years) buy.

Front lower bumper is weak and comes apart, the brakes shudder and grind (although they've been replaced 4 times), cd player doesn't work, the steering wheel shudders over 65 mph, the electrical system died and had to be replaced and had to obtain a totally new engine -- all with a little over 3 years of ownership.

2003 Suzuki Aerio SX - (M5) FWD Hatchback

    Pros: Appearance & gas mileage

Cons: Cant see the front of the hood

    Advice: Dont hesitate-buy it

It has a very responsive & quick pick up has nice turning radius,I get plenty of stares & (what kind of car is that)-It is the first smaller car i have owned & I love it. Highly recomend it.Plenty of cargo space even for my wheel chair, with the back seats left up.

2003 Suzuki Aerio SX - (M5) FWD Hatchback

Pros: Exterior styling with interior room

    Cons: Driver's seat

Advice: Try both front wheel and AWD before buying. Look at difference in milage and evaluate if it is worth it. My experience was the front wheel stuck to the road very well in snow. AWD was better, but may not warrent the sticker markup and reduction in MPG

I bought a yellow 2003 Aerio SX with AWD and automatic. After driving the front wheel drive version, I am not sure the AWD is worth the extra money or the loss of gas miliage. You give up a little of that pick and go at a stop light too. I had a sunroof added at the dealership and added an armrest after driving a few thousand miles and realizing the seats were not so comfortable on long trips. Overall, I love the car. People always ask me about it in parking lots. The in dash 6 CD is great. The car is so roomy. My kids like the back seat because they can see out and the doors are wide enough to get carseats in and out with ease. The back opens to hold more cargo than I thought possible in a car of this size. The 7/100,000 protection plan is great as is the Roadside assitance plan for free. Do the research, I got mine with sunroof, automatic, and AWD for $16,005 ... well below sticker. My suggestions to the Suzuki: Factory Sunroof option. Better driver seats.
