Pros: STYLE OF THE CAR
Cons: CONSTANT MECHANICAL PROBLEMS
Advice: DONT BUY THIS CARI'VE HAD NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS. I PURCHASED THIS CAR IN 03/02 AND HAD A BAD EGG SMELL SINCE THE 1ST DAY, A PROBLEM WITH AN ENGINE PULLEY THAT TOOK 2 YEARS TO DIAGNOSE AND FIX. (AND NOT UNDER WARRANTY). NOW I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH A CONSTANT RATTLE UNDERNEATH THE CAR AND IF I GO ABOVE 60 THE STEERING VIBRATES UNCONTROLABLE.
Pros: AWD and price
Cons: low graund clearance
Advice: Buy it!!!Good pick up, very relible on slippry road, wheels do not spin, a lot of excellent stndard futures, comfortable seats, excellent price for AWD system.
Pros: Cargo space
Cons: A few sqeaks and rattles
Advice: Take a look at this car even though not often mentioned by the car publicationsThe main reason I bought the car was the cargo room. I take road trips with 3 small dogs plus food and gear for 2 everything fits. I have gotten 17 bags of woodchip mulch in the back as well as 45 1 gallon plants plus landscape supplies. With its combination of price, cargo room, features and good MPG I highly reccommend this car. A better value than other small wagons and much better a mini SUV. I have had no quality issues, but unfortunately I bought before Suzuki upgraded the warranty program.
Pros: Back seat room
Cons: No arm rest
Advice: Look at other cars first, because once you drive this you will not want any other carWe already have a 2001 Vitara, and were surprised that this car has more room than the SUV does. I have been impressed with not only the gas milege but the ability to get in and out of place with ease. I love the room in the back, and unlike the Vitara I can drive (6ft tall 300lbs) and my father who is 6'2 can sit behind me with no problem. I totally love this car, and I am in the process of buying the 2004 version.
Pros: Drives very smoothly.
Advice: Compare it with the competition, can't bet the value of this car.Very fun to drive! 'Best Pick' by www.highwaysafety.org, for safety! Very economical on gas. Low emissions, better than what is required(CA). JD POWER best value award, it is very similar to the Toyota Matrix or Pontiac Vibe, but, it costs thousands less! It has many standard features, most of which the competitors charge as options. If you are in the market for a small car, try it and you'll be glad you did. Looks cool, too!
Pros: Price, suburban driveability, loaded with features, likeable.
Cons: The driver needs a bit more cubby space
Advice: Shop around. Good discounts as of 3/03After months of car internet reading I had overlooked the Aerio SX. I saw one parked and it caught my eye. It met my 'specs'. Economical yet peppy, well featured, powerful A/C, 4 wheel indep. suspension, somewhat 'sporty', roomy & versatile, a great 6CD/radio/ a bit more style than Camry/Elantra/Malibu, etc. Style is quite subjective. The pros aren't impressed, but everyone I know loves it.
Pros: Sitting height of car
Cons: Cruise control
Advice: Compare to similarly featured Matrix and ProtegeThis is a fun car w/ loads of standard extras, i.e., 6 CD changer, power windows, power locks, cruise, rear de-froster/wipers, adjdustable height driver seat. All of this in a roomy little car w/ a quick engine, excellent for around town trips. I love to drive this car and so does my wife. My wife, 2 kids (in car seats) and our 'stuff' can easily fit in this car for a day outing. T
