Pros: AWD/ sportshift
Advice: Buy it!!! they are the best around! When driving this vehicle,I found it to be the best in its class. The AWD is just awesome, with the winters like they are in Pennsylvania, I've passed amany better vehicles stuck in the snow. But never another Subaru!
Pros: Looks, ride,
Cons: No complaints
Advice: BuyHave owned a 2005 2.51 wagon all wheel drive outback for 3 days. I love it. Have had nothing but compliments on the car very attractive. Average miles per gallon city 23. I would have liked better milage in the city.
Pros: 6 disc in-dash cd.
Cons: No sliding sunroof in driver's area; but one in back.
Advice: It's a solidly built vehicle.Car handled very nice. Holds corners well.
Pros: Stability control
Cons: Uses premium gas, 4 speed automatic vs 5 speed auto or CVT
Advice: new model out next SummerTook delivery 29 Dec 03. I wanted an AWD car with stability control. I have about 750 miles on it now. We have had no snow since I got it, but should soon. I wanted to keep the price under $30,ooo if possible. Most cars/suvs with the stability control would be more $$. The Passat 4 motion might be a contender.
Cons: Passenger seat is not automatic, unlike driver seat.
Advice: Go for what you want or need, then look at the price. The AWD system grips the road and is a noticeabe difference. Subaru Outback line has all the luxury (L.L. Bean and VDC models) of a BMW, the off road capabilities of a SUV, and the comfort and feel of a sedan. With a nice price.
Cons: No GSP!
Advice: Buy It !!! This car is Great!!!!This Car has it all except no gsp.Other than that, it is one fine wagon.
Pros: Rearview mirror
Cons: not enough ground clearance
Advice: Buy from a reputable dealer.Excellent handling. Crash results are reassuring. Knowing it's a Subaru makes the price a bit more bearable.
