2012 Subaru Impreza: Video Road Test and Review

The Subaru Impreza is a four door five passenger midsize vehicle available in both sedan and hatchback configurations that is powered by a 2.0 Liter four cylinder boxer engine that produces 148 HP being sent to all four wheels and is good for an estimated 27 MPG in the city and as much as 36 MPG on the highway.  Subaru offers the Impreza as the base 2.0i, 2.0i Premium, 2.0i Limited as well as the hatchback only 2.0i Sport Premium and 2.0i Sport Limited trim packages.

The entry level Impreza 2.0i comes with seven standard airbags, a 65/35 split folding rear seat starting at $17,495 for the four door and $17,995 for the hatch.  The Impreza 2.0i Premium gets upgraded with a set of 16 inch alloys, six speaker stereo with iPod compatibility as well as Bluetooth hands free connectivity and an available power moon roof starting at $18,795 for the sedan and $19,295 for the hatchback.  The top of the line Impreza 2.0i Limited gets leather, a Lineartronic continuously variable transmission with manual shift and a set of 17 inch wheels starting at $21,595 for the sedan and $22,095 for the hatchback.

The Impreza 2.0i Sport Premium starts at $20,295 and is available exclusively as a hatchback riding on a set of 17 inch gunmetal alloys, with rugged features like roof rails for extra storage, fog lights to see in the darkness and a standard all weather package to ensure that the sporty Impreza can go wherever it pleases.  Adding a bit more luxury and refinement to the package, the $22,595 gets a leather interior, Lineartronic continuously variable transmission with manual shift and a HD radio standard.
