    2004 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport - (M5)

    Pros: All Wheel Dirve

Cons: Back seat a tad small

Advice: If you want a compact versatile fun car, spend a few thousand more and get a subaru

All wheel drive, 165 hp engine, cool styling and 2 tone paint, securtity system, all power features, alloy rims, ABS, rugged suspension, and discs on all corners make this vehicle cool, fun, safe, and versatile. Tons of storage for a small wagon and the feeling inside is open and expansive due to a low cowl line and a relatively tall body style. Finally, subaru have a history of being reliable. Put all these things together and this is one great vehicle.

    2004 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport - (M5)

Pros: 4WD - A lot of snow last winter - Over 100 inches in CT

Cons: Very noisy engine at cold temperature

Advice: Lease it don't buy it

Ok car, very very noisy engine in the morning (cold engine - winter & summer) The problem goes away after 15 miles of driving. For sure I will have problem when time to resale the car. Using oil 10-30 instead of 5-30 (as recommeded by the manual) does reduce some noise level. Design problem (piston & lifter) I will think twice before buying another Subaru. My old Ford escort sounds better in the morning.
