2009 Subaru Forester
Submitted on 11/11/2010 7:59:26 AM- Summary
Best for least
Pros: Interior space
Cons: No negatives
I've never owned a car that has delivered the most satisfaction for the money. Remember, FOR THE MONEY. Was able to purchase in 6/2008 with no $ down and 0 % interest for 2 years. Not 1 problem and minimal maint.

2009 Subaru Forester - X w/Premium & All Weather Pkg (A4)
Submitted on 12/10/2009 12:32:23 PM- Summary
Pros: All wheel drive
Cons: Lack of power
Advice: Don't buy it if you are taller than 5' 10'
No power. Needs a five speed automatic transmission. Sound system poor. Feels cheaply made inside. Dash controls feel like they will fall off when they are used.

2009 Subaru Forester - X (M5)
Submitted on 2/5/2009 10:00:19 PM- Summary
Pros: snow handling (AWD)
Cons: stripped version/ questionable parts quality
Advice: If you have to buy, byt premium or limited.
Unhappy. The advertized price if for a manual transmission. (Have to add $1200 extra for automatic: (false advertising)). The version 2.5X is stripped down version. (removed roof racks, removed fog lights, manual A/C..) Once you start the car, have to wait for at least 3 min for the blue light (coolant temp low) to go away!!!! Had it for 2 weeks, developed a huge windshield crack (service manager needed a flashlight to find the microscopic chip..) Basically not built to be of outdoorsman quality. If you have to buy, do go with the premium/limited version. (do not recommend the stripped down model.)

best vehicle ever for me.
Pros: safety
Cons: N/A
I buy a car every 2 years and this is my fourth Forester. I am ready to buy my fifth. Great car, holds its value, saftey rating great, the best in the snow, perfect size for me and my dog.
