Brembo takes future Ferrari Enzo braking to the Extrema

The Italian brake maker Brembo has just released this little TRON-like clip highlighting just how great the all new Extrema line of calipers will be.  The clampers will debut on the all new Ferrari LaFerrari that was just unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show.  Based on the all new 800 HP hybrid super car's mix of conventional high revving V12 power combined with a HY-KERS unit wrapped in rounded edges mixed with sharp cut lines, the stoppers just might be the sexiest items to come out of the prancing horse's stable in Maranello.

Thanks to a lightweight minimalistic deign, unsprung mass and ventilation are dramatically improved for better handling dynamics as well as reduced brake fade.  Both necessary items in the super car community.  As an added bonus, the rear four piston mono block calipers (the fronts being six pots) are equipped with mechatronics which packages the parking brake assembly neatly inside the wheel housing.  Dont' fret just yet, because you won't have to be one of the 499 elite to get a set of the new Brembo Extrema calipers, because the Italian brake manufacturer will be offering then in nine multicolored options for public consumption.
