Fab Five Sports Cars of the LA Auto Show 2014

Some great sports cars were on display at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show... which is no surprise. The LA Auto Show marks the public debut of a few particularly impressive cars, but even some of the more familiar faces are still worth the trip. Autobytel's Editor-in-Chief, Michelle Naranjo, was there to pick out the best of the crop. Here's Autobytel's top sports cars of the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show, starting with Audi's R8 Competition. This special R8 is a tribute to Audi's LMS race cars, and is a limited edition with just 60 carbon-fiber-trimmed examples. The Audi R8 Competition commemorates the end of the production run for the first generation R8. Next up is the Cadillac ATS-V Coupe, with its classic yet aggressive styling. This Cadillac offers both performance and luxury, with a 455-horsepower V6 engine and a comfy, high-tech cockpit. The Jaguar F-Type Coupe, a favorite around the Autobytel offices, features an exterior refresh with new front end styling, all-wheel drive on the R trim models, and a 550-horsepower engine. Despite the death of Carroll Shelby two years ago, the name is still going strong, and the Shelby GT 350 is here to prove it with more than 500 ponies under the hood of this powerfully-styled Ford. And the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat is certainly neither last nor least, featuring a monster 707-horsepower engine that makes this Challenger the most powerful muscle car on the planet.
