2002 Oldsmobile Bravada - AWD
Submitted on 6/11/2001 9:23:17 PM- Summary
Pros: Heated seatbacks separate from the seat bottom and lumbar supports.
Cons: Standard Alloy Wheels are a little drab and chrome costs $2400. Standard Radio is worthless.
Advice: You will love it. The Bose radio is a must, the standard radio stinks.
Solid and competent. Engine is smooth as silk and totally responsive. Has virtually every amenity of any Mercedes or BMW I have ever owned. The interior is tastefully designed and reeks of elegance and good taste.

2002 Jeep Liberty - Sport 4x4
Submitted on 6/9/2001 1:43:23 AM- Summary
Pros: Engine
Cons: Price
Advice: Really compare apples with apples before you buy
Test drove vehicle, it rides stiff and just a slight bit better than old jeep. The cargo area is small with back seats up, tire is mounted dead center on rear door which makes it difficult to place items in vehicle with flip glass up especially for someone who is not to tall. Has a good engine, very simple interior. After you add all the non standard features, the overall cost of the vehicle is over priced as compared to others. Unfortunately dealers are marking up the vehicle over the MSRP by as much as $3,000 or more, all I can say is remember the Mazda Miata when they came out and now you can't give them away. In the end I chose to purchase a Hyundai Santa Fe SUV, better bargin, warranty, features and ride.

2002 Chevrolet TrailBlazer - LTZ 4x4
Submitted on 6/7/2001 7:38:47 PM- Summary
Pros: Bose Premium Sound System
Cons: Running Boards
Advice: Test drive one ASAP!
I have owned a 4Runner, Explorer, Blazer and Tahoe SUV's and the TrailBlazer is by far the best of them all! Quiet, smooth, car-like ride; 270hp that absolutely flies. This vehicle has more features/options/gadgets on it than a Cadillac or Lexus. QUALITY-You've got to test drive one for yourself!

2002 Ford Explorer - XLS 4x4
Submitted on 5/23/2001 12:59:34 PM- Summary
Pros: handling characteristic
Cons: grab handle on front passenger side
Advice: I think its an excellent choice
Acceleration from an on ramp to highway speeds somewhat sluggish with the air conditioner turned on. The back window rattles on bumpy roads. This model does not have cross bars for the roof rack. Overall, I'm pleased with appearance, roomy interior space and driveability. Extraordinarily stable in most all driving conditions...side winds, 18 wheelers passing, roundabouts, quick turns. An improved and pleasant driving experience from the older model Explorers.

Pros: performance - turbo boost
Cons: cheap interior plastic - cupholder
Advice: You will not regret it - if you do not buy it from Subaru of Wakefield, MA
EXCELLENT RIDE!!! Great price for the quality performance and power! The appearance grows on you! :) The interior quality and design could be better! Great car .... would have gotten one if I did not have such a bad experience at the Subaru of Wakefield, MA dealers. If they do not change their attitude of doing business. We will have a wonderful prodcut sold buy a bunch of slackers and horrible people. That means bad for the product. What a shame. IT IS A WONDERFUL CAR. I will try another dealer!
