2011 Ford Edge - Limited AWD

    Summary
I love my Ford Edge. My first domestic car and I love it. Sync is feature packed and easy to use. Pairing my phone with it doesn't require my 11 year old's assistance. Looks great and roomy in the back seat. Acceleration when I need it. It wasn't cheap with all of the extras but then again would have been much more in a foreign car. Overall I recommend this car. I think I'm a convert to Fords.

    2011 Chevrolet Equinox - 1LT FWD

    Submitted on 8/18/2011 2:33:49 PM
    Summary
The Equinox is actually surprisingly roomy in the back seats. We took our kids on a trip for the first time it was actually very pleasant ride and the handling is also better than most SUVs. The only issue we had was that the headrests for the back seats are not removable, we felt a bit strange to have a gap between the seat back and the convertible child seats we have (Britax) , but it works out just fine. Gas mileage is reasonably good, averaged 25MPG.

    2000 Ford Expedition - XLT 4x2

    Summary
We traded this truck in for a later model. We should have kept it! What a solid vehicle. Although the look was a bit long-in-the-tooth at the time, I like it's rugged, truck-like appearance. It is a solid truck/SUV with a lot of body panel strength and solid doors. The third row seat is very heavy and should be taken out by two people only. All features worked as designed and no frequent failures occurred.

    2009 Mazda CX-7 - Touring FWD

    Summary
Bought this car used from a local dealer with about 15k miles on the odometer. I had a Mazda3 sedan as a rental and really liked the way it drove. Then when I felt the turbo power of the CX-7 I was hooked. This little crossover does everything well. It has ample room for my 2 kids and can fit bikes or camping gear in the back. Best of all the CX-7 has zoom zoom. It is quick, rides and handles well, and gets about 22-24 MPG which is not bad for an SUV.

    2003 Ford Expedition - Eddie Bauer 5.4L (310B) 4x2

Not at all impressed with the fit and finish of this car. Multiple failed window regulators, and leaking factory sunroof. Maybe it was an issue since this was a first year model.

    2005 Nissan Pathfinder - SE Off-Road 4x2

    Summary
My next vehicle will probably be another Pathfinder as long as the body style doesn't change too much. Plenty of room for an above average guy in height, but watch your weight limits. Great styling.
