One of the advantages of full-size SUVs is their ability to handle lots of cargo. Judging available cargo space however, comes with a caveat. All of the 2015 SUVs with the most cargo space offer three rows of seating, so cargo space varies depending upon the number of rows folded. This means mid-size models like the Ford Explorer are potentially capable of besting some of their full-size counterparts in some specific areas, even if they are surpassed in overall volume. While this listing ranks models by overall volume, we’ll also quote their second and third-row capacities for comparison purposes.

2015 SUVs With The Most Cargo Space: #1. Ford Expedition EL - 130.8 Cubic Feet Overall

The big dog in this category is the Ford Expedition EL. Offering an impressive 130.8 cubic feet of cargo capacity with its second- and third-row seats folded, the Expedition EL will carry 85.5 cubic feet with its third-row seats folded and 42.6 cubic feet with its third-row seats deployed. Further, the super-sized version of Ford’s flagship SUV is capable of towing a maximum of 9,200 pounds, or it can haul a 1,630-pound payload. Power comes from Ford’s turbocharged 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 producing 365 horsepower and 420 ft-lbs of toque. Pricing for the 2015 Ford Expedition EL starts at $42,250.
