2003 Pontiac Vibe - GT FWD
Advice: get a deal or get a matrixI liked the pontiac vibe overall but I feel that the matrix may be the better value since it is essentially the same car I am a long time pontiac owner and currently have a 1978 y 88 T/A and a 1999 30th anv. T/A
2002 Hyundai Elantra - (M5) Sedan
Pros: CD player
Advice: This car is a great deal all around! Get a lot of bang for your buck!Smooth handling and power make this car a great one to drive. Power steering and cruise control are two features I didn't have in my previous car, and I'm growing to love them!
2002 BMW 330 - RWD Coupe
Pros: Performance and handling. It's just a great driving experience.
Cons: No cup holders in the rear seat area
Advice: Get the sports Pkg.I bought my 330Ci in late 2000 and now almost 18 months later I don't regret it one bit. I have added Dinan performance products which has elevated a great car to another level at a minimal cost and is still covered under warranty. It just blows the competition away. It is now a wolf in sheeps clothing except for the Dinan 3 deck lid badge it proudly displays.Jimmy J., Houston ,Tx.
2002 Mitsubishi Galant - ES V6
Pros: I liked the Dover White Pearl color...it's different than other cars out there
Cons: Only wish I had got the moonroof option
Advice: If you are someone with credit concerns - go to them. They can get you an interest that is unheard ofI was very happy with this car after having looked at the Camry and the Sonata also. And Mitsubishi is great with customers with previous dings on their credit. I was treated humanly and they wanted my business unlike the other dealerships that I went to.
2002 Honda Civic - LX (M5) Coupe
Cons: Seats need more cushioning
Advice: Order optional armrestHave 5000 miles on it & no complaints at all. Adequate power (manual trans) & fun to drive. Good mileage (mid-30mpg) and all the room I want for two people & occasional grandkids. Great parkability in the city.
2002 Honda Accord - 2.3 LX (M5) Coupe
Pros: Good gas mileage.
Cons: High price, low value, unreliable.
Advice: Honda's reputation for quality and reliability is a joke. You couldn't make a bigger mistake than buying this car.The biggest mistake I've made this year was buying this car. After a horrible experience at the dealership, I ended driving home a car that was a different color than I wanted, had more options (and thus a higher price) than I wanted, and broke down on the way home. Turns out, the transmission was not filled to specs by the factory and the transmission locked up. Since then, (the dealer did replace the transmission) I have had various dashboard lights come on on a daily basis. I will never make the mistake of buying a Honda again.
2002 Pontiac Grand Am - GT Coupe
Pros: Moon roof, and the back seat is big (hint hint)
Cons: THE EXHAUST TIPS they have surface rust, way to much.
Advice: GRAND AM GT or GT1 only, if you cant afford that, then dont buy a Grand amRides great, and this time around its got some balls.
