    2002 Mitsubishi Galant - ES V6

Pros: The smooth interior and impressive gauge display/illumination.

Cons: Wheel covers instead of solid rims.

Advice: Be prepared to have to search for one. They are in big demand. We had to contact 3 different dealers to find the one we wanted.

I just bought my Galant and am very happy with my decision. The V-6 has plenty of power for interstate and street driving. The car is smooth and quiet. The interior is spacious and ergonomic. The body styling gives the car an aggressive yet luxurious feel.

    2002 Honda Civic - LX (M5) Coupe

    Pros: The stereo is nice.

    Cons: No power !

Advice: Stay away. You get much more in a Focus or Golf.

I first test drove a Ford Focus and really loved it. My friends pressured me into looking at the Civic. The dealership strong armed me into a vehicle that I really didn't want and know I'm stuck for 3 years. The Focus is more powerful, has many more features, lots more room, costs less, and is just more fun to drive. After leaving the dealership, the check engine light came on and I've had it back 4 times with no luck. So much for Honda quality. I will be trading in this Civic in a few years.

    2002 Nissan Altima - 2.5 SL (M5)

Pros: The Bose Stereo system... incredible sound!

Cons: Leather seats too smooth and vinyl looking, more texture needed.

Advice: Drive this car last, first the 4, then the 6, you probably won't go any where else.

I have never had any desire for an Altima, but this car changed my mind. I drove Camry and Accord V6's first and when I drove the Altima, I thought I had a 6, but it was a 4! I was concerned about the 4 handling the hills in our area, but no problem! Passing...A breeze. The exhaust is a little louder than I would like. But the Bose is a lot louder! Handling is great! The car is a joy to drive. Lots of room inside too. I sometimes regret not getting the 6, but that is just testosterone talking.

    2002 Pontiac Grand Am - GT1 Sedan

Pros: ram air and appearance especially the chrome tech torqued wheels

Cons: leather seats not heated and not enough support from the side bolsters

Advice: get the gt1 model or at least the gt model as they look much better than the se model and they also have the ram air v6

fun car to drive and it looks great the upgrade to the gt1 and solid value package with leather seats, moonroof, and chrome tech torqued wheels is worth the extra money the 4 door model makes it easier to put a car seat in the back and for adults to get in and out of the back seat the car is a great value when compared to other cars in its class especially when taking advantage of the $2002 rebate being offered by GM

2002 Volkswagen Passat - GLS (M5) FWD Wagon

Pros: Quality of fit and finish

Cons: Limited availability of 1.8T wagons

Advice: Get the 1.8T GLS, 6 cylinder is a waste of money and gas

I have been a Toyota owner for the past twenty years. If there is one European car company that can give Toyota,Honda,Nissan a run for their money it is Volkswagen. It is one the finest automobiles I have every owned

    2002 Toyota Celica - GT (M5)

    Pros: potential horses/stylin/performance

    Cons: plastic

Advice: buy it!!!for those of you who are just looking for a fun ride or on the racing industry, you'll love this fine machinery.

well, what can i say. it,s my dream car and i have nothing against it. i guess you could say i adore it. it,s not built to replace the high revvin, turbo chargin supra which i've read in one of the articles. its ment to be driven by people like me. people who are wanting to experince what it's like to be inside a sport car but the same time afford it. i'm sure most of you missed the supra coz i am. so what? it's not like its the end of the world for all yo street race fanatics. i'm teelin you, this car has a lot of potential if you know how to fix it like a true dragg racer.(specially it's big bro the gt-s). and don't even compaire it to the honda civic. their lousy, almost every one i know drives one, all they have is good looks but has nothing against a celica. even the 1997 honda civic si's have no match to the gt-s. you just have to see for your self. the only thing i dont like is the plastic stuff...c'mon toyota you have to represent this fine piece of machinery. all you have to do is invest a couple of $ and you'll see the results. i'm tellin you, thers a lot of potential buyers out there just waiting for a change on your current trims...

    2002 Hyundai Sonata - Base (M5)

Pros: The V6 and the Shiftronic Transmission

Cons: Front seat backs are a little stiff for me (just a nit)

Advice: Go and drive the Sonata

I have owned this new Sonata for about a month now and have driven it 1800 miles. This car is a great vehicle, very quite, many features, the V6 has plenty of power for me. My wife saw the Sonata after driving the Elantra and fell in love with it. The styling is great, all the body panels fit nicely, the rear seat room is great, and the interior is attractive. Great sound system. The front seat backs seemed a little stiff at first but either I am getting use to them or they are softening up some. The engine compartment is layed out very well, all the fluid containers are clear so fluid levels can be inspected without cap removal. The 'Shiftronic' transmission feature is also a lot of fun! The quality of this Hyundai appear to be outstanding. No problems so far just fun! This car drives very nice! With the great warranty that Hyundai offers, that helped me put some faith in the 'new' Hyundai Motor Company.
