    2002 Honda Accord - 2.3 VP (A4) Sedan

    Pros: Quiet ride.

    Cons: Weak engine.

Advice: Find a good dealer. There are some rogue ones out there...

Although the Accord VP has the weakest engine of the Accord lineup (as does the DX), it has just enough punch so as not to feel weak. And that engine is the weakest part of this otherwise great, albeit bland looking car. The construction quality, the general feel and truly quiet ride are terrific. Although the plain cloth seats are not the most comfortable, the price - similar to that of a souped up Civic, is worth it. Go for it!

    2002 Saturn L-Series - L100 (A4) Sedan

Pros: Everything is push button automatic

Cons: controls for temperature (air condition and heat)

Advice: Definitely consider buying this American car over a foreign one

I drove out of the showroom with my new L100 Special Edition on Feb.8,2002. I love everything about it especially the handling. The steering was a little tight the first 10 miles but after a few turns everything is fine. I agree the rear window is small but I have no problem seeing traffic. Maybe I can see better because on the Special Edition there is a well engineered spoiler. It sits on the top of the trunk and it functions as a guide as to where the car ends.( Good for Parking!)Perfect car for me.

    2002 Nissan Sentra - SE-R Spec V (M6)

Pros: the suspension and the vrooom...

    Cons: the torque steer

Advice: eat ramen noodles to buy it!!!!

This car is the ultimate sleeper! It looks like any ole' sedan, which lowers the theft rate, and lowers insurance costs. Don't let it deceive, it eats other imports for breakfast!!! The handling is great, tight suspension, it wants to go faster and doesn't sweat when it does. The interior is a bit boy-ish, but I guess that's the common market. The optionable subwoofer is a must.

    2002 Acura TL - Type S

    Pros: quality

    Cons: space saver spare tire

Advice: Be prepared for a great driving and ownership experience.

This is a 'Type-S' Acura. In 39 years of driving, this is the most impressive car I have had. Included in that list were the muscle cars of the 1960's, Datsun 240-Z's and Mazda RX-7's, Nissan and Toyota products, American luxury cars (GM and Ford), BMW (5 series), Volvo's (164's, 760's, S-80's), etc. I am approching 12,000 on this 2002, Type-S, I have had zero problems, not even a squeak, that's the first time I can say that in 39 years. The power band of this little 3.2 liter engine is remarkable, the exterior and interior fit and finish are flawless, the headlight system turns night to day, no gimicks, everything is well designed and executed. Price this car against the competition and you will discover and amazing value for your dollars. If you enjoy driving, this is a car that you sho

    2002 Nissan Altima - 2.5 S (M5)

Pros: Re-designed speed dials and tachometer

Cons: A little too much plastic for the interior

Advice: Make sure you test drive a bunch of other cars first, then drive the new 2002 Altima... you'll love it. I sure do!

The 2.5S with the 5 speed manual transmission handles very nicely at all speeds. Only disappointment is the shifting feels alittle 'clunky'. Overall, the new Altima is one HUGE improvement over previous year models.
