    2006 Scion tC - (M5)

Pros: So many standard features (sound system, moon roof, wheels, etc.) that are pricy upgrades in other cars

Cons: gas mileage is pretty good, but it could be better

Advice: It is definitely worth every penny

This car has some serious giddy up. It rides very smoothly and is very quiet. It's a Toyota product, so how can you go wrong?!!

    2006 Scion tC - (M5)

Pros: Overall styling and the killer sound system.

    Cons: Better gas mileage.

Advice: Don't go bananas on the accessories... doesn't need it.

Driving this car is an absolute joy. I saw this car at the SF auto show in 2004 and finally got one a year later. I had to order it and wait about two months. I have averaged between 24 and 29 mpg in mixed driving... not bad but better would be nice. Overall I love this car... would recommend it without hesitation!

    2005 Scion tC - (M5)

Pros: Torquey 2.4 engine: classic recipe of big engine in small car!

Cons: Doors are wide and heavy, can make entering and exiting tricky in crowded spaces.

Advice: Buy it. Simple as that.

An excellent choice: Toyota reliability and resale value, good mpg, inherently safe, truly fun to drive. Almost perfect: like other owners I would like a rear window wiper and a sixth gear, but for the money the tC is a great bargain 'as is.' Called by some a baby Lexus. Lots of OEM and aftermarket accessories available too.

    2006 Scion tC - (M5)

    Pros: Glass top

    Cons: Driver's seat comfort

    Advice: Get tinted windows!

Exceptional car for the price! I have owned a BMW 5-Series, Miata, and most recently a 1/2 ton truck, so far the Scion tC has been the best car for the price.

    2006 Scion tC - (M5)

Pros: sports car look without the sports car price tag

Cons: needs to have a 6th speed and could use a rear wiper

Advice: for the price go ahead and get all the options

I bought my Tc in January and could not be more pleased. After years of driving an SUV it feels great driving a vehicle that does not cost an arm and a leg in fuel. I get about 29 mpg puttering around town which is pretty good. Taking a trip in the summer and can hardly wait to see how my gas mileage is.

    2006 Scion tC - (M5)

    Pros: PRICE, style, and comfort.

Cons: Some interior parts start to make noise after awhile.

Advice: Wait a couple years until some minor problems are fixed. The 2005 and 2006 models have too many minor problems.

My first time behind the wheel of this car was amazing. The test drive was what sold me. That and the price. For only a little over $17,000 you can have yourself a brand new car. Driving this car makes the daily commute so much fun. Instead of being upset that I have to go to work or class I get excited that I get to drive my car. Some things to watch out for: After awhile interior parts start to rattle and make noise. This can be fixed by a trip to the dealership. Also the paint can be an issue. After awhile some owners have complained about stains, cracking, peeling, and all sorts of bad things. My recommendation is to wait a couple years until the little problems with this car are fixed before buying one.
