Scion hosted a lively evening this week at the Smog Shoppe in Los Angeles and showed off a set of customized Scion FR-S cars.
Set to be on show at the 2012 SEMA Show in Las Vegas starting next week, the event was a preview of the FR-S Tuner Challenge 2012 competitors. Craig Taguchi, Scion Publis Relations Specialist and drifting champion, Ken Gushi, were on hand to show off the specialized Scions.
The FR-S Tuner Challenge 2012 is a Scion-sponsored competition. Each contestant was given a stock Scion FR-S, $15,000, and three months to build their dream FR-S. The winner of the challenge, determined by an independent third party car show judging company, is set to be announced on October 31, 2012 at SEMA, and will win a $10,000 Grand Prize.
