Cons: That is is a 4 cylinder and not a 6I did my reshearch with all the Suv's on the market at that time and I kept going back to the Saturn Vue for the overall look and appeal it has . I Love this Suv . It is just about to hit 10,000 mile and still drives like new . I have to say I have kept up with it's needs to keep it running like new .If any of you are considering a used Saturn Buy it . They are Great Cars . Sorry to have seen them go .
Pros: AWD sensors - knowing I'm safe.
Cons: Seats aren't really comfortable for long trips.I went from a VW Jetta to owning the Vue. Although the seats aren't as comfortable as my Jetta's, it has been an extremely reliable car. Very roomy, can handle 5 people, 2 dogs and camping gear very well. AWD is great in snow/rain, etc. Definitely a good buy.
could have been better
Pros: Honda engine
Cons: replacing wheel bearingsThis is before steel panels. lots of road noise, and had years to fix. replaced every wheel bearing at least once. fortunately under warranty but now I'm off and they charge $370 to replace one ' for life'. This is the same problem they had in 02 on my first one. The honda engine is great. I used to love Saturn but I can no longer recommend them even as a used one. This is typical of american made cars they nickel and dime you. All the ads are b.s. it is the same old same old.
Hybrid Is Everything I wanted and MORE...
Pros: The split back seat fold down ability. We can put someone in a seat on a longer item in the fold down area next to them.
Cons: Wish it had a 3rd row seat!I love the Saturn VUE Hybrid I bought new in 2006. I average 25 MPG on my Chicago Suburbs trip to work and 31 mpg on the Highways. It carries all of my stuff and my family of 4 easily...we can put a 5th in the back seat with my boys. The interior is basic, but with 2 nearly teenage boys, it works well for us. The exterior holds up to everything...including the boys soccer ball mistakes.
Pros: plastic body panels
Cons: suspension componentsgreat vehicle, engine and transmission. Unfortunately, the GM suspension is typically bad: by 50K miles - replaced front hubs/wheel bearings, front strut mounts, and lower control arm bushings. All door gaskets are decaying and cracked. Complained to dealer who said we were lucky because most Equinox and Vues had these issues around 40K miles....of course, just after warrantee ran out. Luv the plastic body panels, still looks like new.
Love the Low maintenance
Pros: low sporty look
Cons: doesn't make hitch install easyThe truck (redline edition) has not given me many problems. The problems I've had were do to the service dept. It's got really good power and is sturdy. Has lots of space.
