2004 Saturn ION - Red Line Coupe

    Pros: supercharger

    Cons: center island

Advice: try it out, performs like a V6 with gas milage like many 4 cyl.

A blast to drive... Quick out of the blocks and the improved suspension/brakes hold you tightly to the road. A completely different ride than other saturns I've been in. My only complaint is the center island where the stick is mounted. There is no room to put anything other than a soda.

    2004 Saturn ION - 3 (M5) Coupe

    Pros: Polymer no-dent body panels

    Cons: XM radio antenna placement

Advice: Do your homework, and take the 24 hour test drive

Love the polymer body! If you want a sporty, not-a-run-of-the-mill vehicle, this fits the bill. Sure it's a little quirky, but I chose the full option model, and love the leather and sunroof. Do not go cheap, you will be one of those who complain about it's lack of this or that :-) Give it a chance, and you will enjoy the experience.

    2004 Saturn ION - 3 (M5) Coupe

Pros: mostly the keyless trunk release

    Cons: nothing really

Advice: if you like a sporty looking car with good gas milage and comfort... get this

it was really smooth. I like the smoothness of the test drive. Also, the sporty look was what i was going for. The overall experience was good, i thought.

    2004 Saturn ION - 2 (M5) Sedan

    Pros: Truck space---IT IS HUGE!!!

Cons: Floor space in rear could be a little more.

Advice: Take the 24 hour test drive. If you can't, take one around town on a busy Saturday with crazy drivers!

I drove a demonstrator ION around town while my trade in was being valued. I really liked the handling of the car in tight situtations. It stopped on a dime when I needed it and was quick to get up to speed. It was easy for my 3 year old to get in and out of and she could see out the front window easier than in most cars. I was complemented several times throughout the day and most thought it was a foreign car!
