Zoomin with class
Cons: I wish it had more hpThis is a very dependable and sleek sports car with good performance.
A pleasure to drive
Pros: Engine sound
Cons: Blind spotsThis car has more than adequate power, and it feels as though you're driving a rocket. It's also comfortable and luxurious, like cars costing much more. Overall it's the most fun car I've ever owned, and I've had BMW's and Mercedes as well.
2008 Carrera S Cabriolet
Pros: Handling and Styling
Cons: PriceGreat car, nothing better except maybe a Turbo
a real head turner
Pros: Sports exhaust
Cons: no auto on headlitesif you don't want to be noticed, don't buy this car.A true sports car that is a blast to drive.Options are expensive, but if you are going to keep it,load it up.Drives better than the 911.Better balanced
Pros: the ease of raising and lowering the top
Cons: Plastic bumpersA great car for touring.
Pros: The sport car performance without the limitations
Cons: The fat key that requires fumbling at insertion
Advice: No 'skeletons' yet!Only have 1900 miles on the odometer, so haven't given it everything, but I can't imagine that off the track you can use any more performance than this car provides, and I'll bet it will give more on the track than lots of lighter two-door sport cars. The transmission/suspension has three sport settings at the touch of the button that range from soft and economical to 'Holy S--t!!'. The new dual clutch transmission is very quick but has a few surprise jerks when coming to a stop at the light. When set to do so, at the long lights, the engine will shut off as long as the foot's on the brake. Overall fuel economy is just under 20mi/gal. I love it!
Pros: Great performance
Cons: Not the most comfortable car, especially for a tall driver or passenger.
Advice: If you want great Porsche performance, and don't mind feeling a little cramped in a roadster, buy this car.The 2009 Porsche Boxster is a flat-out high performance machine. The six-cylinder engine offers more power than you might imagine, and the suspension is tuned to maximize handling. As roadsters go, it would be very difficult to beat this one. The top goes down in a mere 12 seconds, and the engine hums along beautifully. For all that you get, the price is nice - around $47,000.
