2005 Pontiac Vibe
The vehicle I still love
Pros: Body style and engine really are fantastic!
Cons: Loss of the high output Celica engine.
The 2005 Pontiac Vibe GT is going to reach 5 years, the longest time for me to be in love with a car. Too bad it cannot be built today. The high output 1800cc Toyota 4cylinder tune by Yamaha and also use in the Lotus two-seater series, the Exige, really can perform in all respects. The 5speed manual still works wonderfully, and gas-wise it does 28 to 38 mpg, usually 30 around town. It's a beauty, and sad that no more will be built. The EPA doesn't approve of the exhaust anymore. It's a fun machine! Much better looking than the Toyota Matrix, made in the same factory by NUMMI. Pontiac designers did a wonderful thing!- Recommend this vehicle to a friend? Yes

2005 Pontiac Vibe
I love this car.
Pros: Moon and Tunes pkg.....200 watt premium sound sys.
Cons: hubcaps and factory tires
I like everything about my beautiful Vibe. I love the color (Moonstone), the handling, the pep, overall look and the versatility of folding down the back seat. I had the windows tinted dark and with the Moonstone color, it is really hot looking.- Recommend this vehicle to a friend? Yes

2005 Pontiac Vibe - AWD
Pros: The whole car.
Cons: The way it handles
Advice: Drive it.
Totally fun to drive. Never wanted a wagon, but this one is sporty. Better than my suv. Lots of room! But, there is a but, road noise! When on a highway that is not 'smooth', can hear the rumble of the road, we just turn up the stereo, and discuss getting better tires. Also, wasn't even in the market for a a Vibe, till drove it. Love at first site. -
2005 Pontiac Vibe - AWD
Pros: AWD
Cons: Driver and pass seats feel cramped for those who are bigger
Advice: get the all wheel drive
Front interior seems cramped. Good legroom in the rear. Hard plastic cargo area is wonderful for those with pets and young children. Good power for its class. Fuel economy is great. It would be awsome if they would make manual transmission an option for the AWD model. -
2005 Pontiac Vibe - Base FWD
Pros: The MGP of a Sunfire and room of an SUV
Cons: Armrests, there are none
Advice: I would suggest it, this vehicle fits all needs and is the best thing out of GM!
I took this out for a test drive: sweet, good pickup, roomy as a small SUV, comfortable and affordable. -
2005 Pontiac Vibe - Base FWD
Pros: Awesome gas mileage
Cons: No complaints here, could use a little more power but would probably have to comprimise great gas mileage
Advice: A+ one of the best vehicles for your dollar, you get the room of an SUV, mileage of a Jetta and comfort of a luxury vehicle.
Drives nice, good suspension, roomy and nice cd system.
