2002 Pontiac Grand Am - GT Sedan
Cons: All the extra noises that come along with the engine.
Advice: Move on.What's that knocking????
2002 Pontiac Aztek - FWD
Pros: The fold up and removable back seats.
Cons: Split rear door, ackward to get things in and out of the back area.
Advice: Take one for a test drive and you'll understand the appeal. You can say whatever you want about the way the Aztec looks! But, once you have driven one or been for a ride in one ... you'll not care one bit about it's appearance. They are so much fun to drive. They have excellant visability. The smooth ride and comfort feels like a luxury car. My inlaws purchased thier Aztec (burgundy color) first. My wife and her siblings teased her parent's for buying such an ugly vehicle. But, after driving around in it ... a few months later my brother in law purcased an Aztec (black color) for his family. My wife and I were the latest in the family to purchase an Aztec (red color). You should see the driveway when we all get together for Sunday evening meals ... Aztecs every which way you look. We have taken ours on a raod trip to a backwoods cabin ... I can't wait to take it ona camping trip.
2002 Pontiac Grand Am - GT1 Sedan
Pros: ram air and appearance especially the chrome tech torqued wheels
Cons: leather seats not heated and not enough support from the side bolsters
Advice: get the gt1 model or at least the gt model as they look much better than the se model and they also have the ram air v6fun car to drive and it looks great the upgrade to the gt1 and solid value package with leather seats, moonroof, and chrome tech torqued wheels is worth the extra money the 4 door model makes it easier to put a car seat in the back and for adults to get in and out of the back seat the car is a great value when compared to other cars in its class especially when taking advantage of the $2002 rebate being offered by GM
2003 Pontiac Vibe - GT FWD
Pros: handling and comfort
Cons: I haven't found anything yet.
Advice: test drive and enjoyThe moment I sat behind the wheel I knew this was the car for me. It's very comfortable and handles great. The sound system and roominess make it a pleasure to drive. I've owned my Vibe for a month now, and did have a scare. About three weeks after purchasing my Vibe it wouldn't idle. I took it to the dealership and there was a small glitch in the computer system that had to be reset. Since then it has run fine. I was expecting maybe something like that would happen in a brand new model. I would still reccommend this car to anyone. It's a great ride.
2002 Pontiac Firebird - Base Coupe
Pros: overall appearance
Cons: I am looking to increase the horsepower
Advice: Get the V8 with Ram AirI own a 1999 Firebird and it is everything I hoped for in a sports car for under 30,000. I blows the Mustang away in appearance and drive. The Camaro is nice but I have always admired the Firebird. It handles the a sports car should. Tight cornering and solid drive. At high speeds it handles best.
2002 Pontiac Grand Prix - GT Sedan
Advice: Don't think about it, JUST BUY IT!My husband and I have been wanting to purchase a Grand Prix GT Sedan for about a year now, and still have about 8 more months before we can actually buy it. One day, while having my 92 Saturn serviced, I decided to stroll across the street to Pontiac, and test drive their new 2002. From the moment I laid eyes on her, I knew I was in heaven. But from the moment I sat in her, and zoomed around the course they allow you to test drive on, I was no longer in heaven... I was above that. I was exhilirated and floored. This car has everything you could want, and even more. It's a must have, even if it means being broke... at least you will look and feel good in your car!
2003 Pontiac Vibe - Base FWD
Pros: The driver controls and instrumentation
Cons: I honestly haven't found a feature I dislike...sorry!
Advice: DriveIt is fun to drive my new 2003 Vibe. Once you're behind the wheel, the experience begins to unfold as you close the door(quality sound) and gaze at the interior design and spaciousness. The Vibe's fit and finish is very good. The driving experience is comfortable, quiet, responsive and secure. For $19,000 this is a well equipped vehicle that is very versatile in it's ability to carry passengers and parcels. A road test is a must to experience this new design, the new age 'station-wagon' of efficiency.
