2002 Pontiac Grand Prix - GT Sedan

Pros: Heated seat and heads up

    Cons: Headrests

Advice: If you are short like me, think twice

I love the ride of this car; however, I am considering trading because the car's headrest is too large and I cannot see clearly behind me when I look back. This has already caused me to back into another car that I did not see coming. Also, spoiler leaks water when I wash the car and my car is black so there are continual water streaks across the back; and ping sounds under the car when I turn it off.

2002 Pontiac Grand Prix - GT Sedan

Pros: Dual temp. controls, heated drivers seat, Bose stereo

Cons: The drink holders aren't very deep and are rather flimsy

Advice: This a very nice and sporty car, I think it is well worth the money!

It has great get-up-and-go! I love the way it takes corners. ABS is great. I really like OnStar, it gives peace of mind. The heads-up display is a great safety feature. I also really like the radio controls on the steering wheel. The heated driver seat is wonderful in the winter, it gets warm almost instantly. The power moon roof is great in the spring and fall, when it is open it also sucks air in through the door panel giving a great flow of air. The was alot of noise with the moon roof open, but I put an air deflector above mine and it has limited alot of the wind noise.

2002 Pontiac Grand Prix - GTP Sedan

    Pros: heads up display

Cons: the digital read out would be nice if it had other options (i.e.

Advice: Sign on the dotted line (Buy it)

I just bought the 2002 40th anniversary addition. What a HOT CAR!!! I had been looking for a 4x4 truck but the salesman suggested the grand prix and I instantly fell in love. On an 800 mile trip we averaged 27.8 mpg. I love the styling, color, heads up display, and bose speakers. The stereo could be better though it does just fine. This car is a muscle car with modern day amenities.

2002 Pontiac Grand Prix - GT Sedan

Pros: All the room.( I am 6'3')

    Cons: Nothing

Advice: DO IT!!! Keep an eye on spoiler, ours had to be resealed.

My wife and I first rented a 2002 Grand Prix SE and the only complaint I had was that it was a little rough of a ride and you got alot of road noise. We were still impressed with the Grand Prix and went to buy a Grand Prix GT. We went to the dealership and were blown away with the ride of the GT,the ride was excellent and you didnt get the road noise like the SE model. The GT had the 200 hp motor and I really didnt notice a difference here but everyone of the employees that I spoke to at the GM garage recommended the 200 hp motor.

I went from a Grand AM to the Grand Prix. More room and a better ride. Also gas mileage is as good or better. Love the heads up display and boise sound system. Great car and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

2002 Pontiac Grand Prix - GTP Coupe

    Pros: immense leg room

Cons: aside from a higher price than I can afford

Advice: If you can afford it

Ever since I owned a 1988 Grand Prix, I have always wanted another one. I took a test drive recently and it confirmed to me just how much leg room is inside this beautiful car. Coming from a guy who stands 6'5', that is hard to come by. I don't like driving with my knees, and this car has plenty of room for movement inside. With tons of spunk and power, this is definitely a must-buy for the people who have a long drive, and want to be comfortable when they get there.

2002 Pontiac Grand Prix - GT Sedan

    Pros: Performance

    Cons: Nothing

Advice: Don't think about it, JUST BUY IT!

My husband and I have been wanting to purchase a Grand Prix GT Sedan for about a year now, and still have about 8 more months before we can actually buy it. One day, while having my 92 Saturn serviced, I decided to stroll across the street to Pontiac, and test drive their new 2002. From the moment I laid eyes on her, I knew I was in heaven. But from the moment I sat in her, and zoomed around the course they allow you to test drive on, I was no longer in heaven... I was above that. I was exhilirated and floored. This car has everything you could want, and even more. It's a must have, even if it means being broke... at least you will look and feel good in your car!
