    2002 Pontiac Grand Prix - GTP Coupe

    Pros: immense leg room

    Ever since I owned a 1988 Grand Prix, I have always wanted another one. I took a test drive recently and it confirmed to me just how much leg room is inside this beautiful car. Coming from a guy who stands 6'5', that is hard to come by. I don't like driving with my knees, and this car has plenty of room for movement inside. With tons of spunk and power, this is definitely a must-buy for the people who have a long drive, and want to be comfortable when they get there.

    2002 Pontiac Grand Prix - GT Sedan

    Cons: Nothing

    Advice: Don't think about it, JUST BUY IT!

    My husband and I have been wanting to purchase a Grand Prix GT Sedan for about a year now, and still have about 8 more months before we can actually buy it. One day, while having my 92 Saturn serviced, I decided to stroll across the street to Pontiac, and test drive their new 2002. From the moment I laid eyes on her, I knew I was in heaven. But from the moment I sat in her, and zoomed around the course they allow you to test drive on, I was no longer in heaven... I was above that. I was exhilirated and floored. This car has everything you could want, and even more. It's a must have, even if it means being broke... at least you will look and feel good in your car!

    2002 Pontiac Grand Prix - SE Sedan

    Pros: Steering and handling

    Cons: Problem with the motor

    Advice: Buy the GT model with the 3800 motor

    Purchased 2001 Se with 3100 motor, and 30,000 km. Had to take the motor in for repair. Sloppy pistons. Factory defect. Apparently found out from contacting GM that this defect is very common with the 3100 motor. This defected motor has been sold with the SE model for over 3 years, so why hasn't GM corrected the problem?????

    2002 Pontiac Grand Prix - GT Sedan

    Pros: Spoke wheels and racing rails

    Cons: There is no light indicator for the cruise control

    Advice: If you are looking for a sporty car with great handling buy this one!

    We purchased the Grand Prix GT Special Edition and we like the way it accelerates and corners like its on rails! It is really an easy and fun to drive vehicle. It has dual pipes on both sides and roars wonderfully. Gives the feeling that you're driving an Indy car. There are only 5000 of these vehicles (Special Edition) made for 2001 and we feel especially happy that we are the owners of one of them. It is a great car for the money, looks and handling.

    Cons: Cup holders are well located, but feel a little weak.

    Advice: GMAC has some terrific lease programs. Don't be afraid to lease instead of buying.

    I decided I wanted a change from my 1995 GMC Sierra 4x4, and went in search of something sportier. The aggressive styling and classic lines of the 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix GT caught my eye right away, and the test drive was nothing short of exhilirating. Six cylinders of pure power set me back into my seat as we zoomed down the entrance ramp to the highway. Steering was responsive without being sloppy, and the handling was as smooth as it was impressive. Dual climate controls make the ride that much more comfortable for both the driver and the passenger, and the Monsoon stereo system fills the cabin with top quality sound. The sleek GT styling draws attention wherever it goes, and the position and design of the power moonroof provides a nice air flow without mussing a single hair. This car has all the attitude of it's cousin, the Firebird, without the rough sportscar ride and without drawing too much attention from the folks with the radar guns. There's plenty of room for passengers in the back, and the cavernous trunk will accomodate lots of luggage for that weekend road trip. A great value, this car is a must drive for anyone looking for a little excitment without sacrificing practicality.
