2003 Pontiac Grand Am - SE Sedan

Had minor problems, mainly revolving around my brake system. That lies with the quality of work rather than the car itself. Has driven from one side of the US to the other about 4 times, and had no major problems. I love this car, although it is standard when it comes to features.

    POS

    Pros: Looks

Cons: Lousy manufacturer support for known defects.

Just after warranty expired, entire dash cover began peeling up all around its borders, including the lower center dash area. GM forums appear to report this is a known defect with these cars, however, GM has not offered any corrective assistance. Ignition switch tied into some security features is a failed item causing delayed starts requiring sitting for 11 minutes for the system to allow key to start the engine. Another over engineered feature that fails and causes extreme inconvenience.
