Earlier this year, Nissan announced a contest called "Your Door To More" which encouraged users of Vine and Instagram to show off their passions with the new 2014 Versa Note via a video. This past week, Nissan announced the winners of the contest. The winners are:
- Matt Fogarty of Camp Hill, Pennsylvania
- Haley Yuen of Edison, New Jersey
- Andrew Jive of Brooklyn, New York
The three winners will have their Vine videos featured in a 45-second nationally-televised commercial and take home $1,000 Amazon gift cards.
"There are a lot of really creative people using Vine and Instagram. We're still trying to figure out the smoke and mirrors used to create several of the videos. This was a good social media experiment and a great way for Nissan to promote the all-new Versa Note," said Jon Brancheau, vice president of Marketing for Nissan North America.
