2004 Nissan Titan - SE 4x2 King Cab

    Pros: Power

    Cons: Quality

Advice: Wait till the rattles/squeeks are worked out

I have had my King cab in the shop at least four times...door rattles/squeeks drive me crazy...steering wheel starting to shake while braking,,,,pass airbag light stays on with wife seated in front pass seat...got my first oil change and learned oil paint plug hole was drilled off-set. Poor seal and leaked oil, had to be replaced. Two months old and just over 5000 miles....Not very happy. Sold my 01' Tundra and wish I had it back!

2004 Nissan Titan - SE 4x4 Crew Cab

    Pros: Engine

    Cons: Nothing

Advice: Haggle on price but realize the bargain you are getting even at full sticker coompared to the Big 3

Be prepared to be stunned!! The Titan is more powerful than any pickup I have driven and is as comfortable as a luxury car. Most of the other reviews include language that the interior quality is a bit 'plastic' or unrefined - this is a TRUCK!!! Do not buy it if you are looking to run the kids to school. This thing is built for serious off road fun and serious work. I only wish that I had bought sooner but the close of model year clearance allowed me to get into this vehicle for just under $25,000 - unheard of among the big three!!!

2004 Nissan Titan - SE 4x2 King Cab

Pros: Four doors and large spacious interior

Cons: Gas mileage...14 hwy, mirrors, exhaust noise (not cool or manly, just irritating)

Advice: If mileage is of any concern then go with another truck because this truck offers little advantage over any other truck in it's class.

Sure it's got lots of power and excellent off-road handling but once I owned it I realized it's not what it's cracked up to be. The mirrors make it extremely difficult to back up, the exhaust howls throught the cab, the bed is to small to do anything with and the mileage is terrible!

2004 Nissan Titan - XE 4x2 King Cab

Pros: RAW Power and more RAW Power.

Cons: Hmmmmm....mileage, but what do you expect?

Advice: Test drive before you buy any other pickup. You'll be VERY pleased.

From the second I saw the Titan, I grew very interested. The closer I got, the more interested I became. I took one out for a spin, and WOW. The first thing you notice is the gallup this truck has. The 305Hp comes through very nicely. The sound just from the stock exhaust is great. The interior is VERY comfortable. I'm 6'3' so comfort is my main issue. The stylish dash looks great and since my other vehicle had XM, I was pleased to see XM feature already installed. I went from an Eddie Bauer Expedition to the Titan XE King Cab with no regrets.

2004 Nissan Titan - SE 4x4 King Cab

Pros: The Sound of the Engine with Dual Exhaust...WOW!!!

Cons: Quick to gather brake dust. Brake dust covers are not yet available

Advice: Simply choose a Style/ Model and Drive the Titan then drive the competion of same feature and style. You'll be hooked.

Driven and was in love the 1st time I stepped on the Gas...

2004 Nissan Titan - LE 4x4 King Cab

Pros: The attention the Titan draws from other truck owners, and the powerful V8

Cons: Gas Mileage is not good, but about average for other trucks of this class

Advice: Wait until the 2005 models come out to get away from the 'first year bugs.'

This truck is solid and powerful. The cab is roomy and comfortable, though the seats do not tilt up far enough in the front. There is serious power under the hood, and beefy tires on the off-road model will see you through the heavy blizzards and mud boggs. The Titan is sharp and unique in appearance. The utility bed package offers a spray-in bed liner, tracks that hold all kinds of accessories like bed extenders and bed dividers, a 12-volt power outlet and a lockable side compartment.

2004 Nissan Titan - SE 4x2 Crew Cab

Pros: interior size and ease of drivability

    Cons: the apparent poor quality

Advice: Honestly, I'd think about waiting a while...it's not a cheap truck.

I've owned my Titan for 3 months now. I gotta say, I'm having some problems. Auxillary fan rattles so bad it sounds like it will fall off. The A/C makes an odd noise that I can only describe as similar to the way Darth Vadar breathes. And now, I've noticed that the factory bed liner is starting to bubble up. I've got an appointment with the dealer, and I hope these problems can be fixed. Also, the exhaust seems loud to me, but I read about that in reviews before I bought. It has the potential to be a great truck. I love the space, and it drives great. But these problems have me concerned about it's longevity. It also is starting to have some interior dash squeeks...
