2005 Nissan Titan - SE 4x2 King Cab All Regions

    Pros: Motor, Performance

Cons: Cheap plastic Cup holder, some other Cheap plastics on the interior.

Advice: Definitely test drive one and consider buying, since release bugs should be worked out on new models.

Purchased my 2005 Titan late in the year. Within 3 months I had the dreaded brake problem, stopped by the dealership, no questions asked, recall number, put it in the shop and they replaced all rotors and pads with updated parts. Have put 42K miles on the vehicle since then and changed tires, have done nothing but regular maintainence. I drive it to work and back every day and tow my boat to the lake 2 times a week just about every week. The truck has been excellent to date, no window problem, no dash noises, mechanically sound towing the boat and hauling home depot yard junk. My wife's 02 pathfinder has 65K on it and the same, excellent, zero problems, and has been excellent. I have had Ford, Cheverlot, Pontiac, Toyota vehicles over the years and have never been as happy with a vehicle as I have since going to Nissan, the only other I would buy would be Honda.

2005 Nissan Titan - XE 4x4 King Cab All Regions

Pros: Plush. It has the SE bench pkg. which has all comfort options known to man.

Cons: Transmission too touchy and exhaust noise.

Advice: Don't pay too much, they came out with a bunch of rebates after I bought this one.

This truck is built to tow. I bought it because it was the most powerful truck in it's class (1/2 ton) at the time. It rides great. Two dislikes 1) The engine noise (exhaust) gets on my nerves when riding around town. 2) The transmission (auto) is touchy. Press on the accelerator just a smidge and it leaps into a lower gear. A plus when towing maybe but irritating around town without a load.

2005 Nissan Titan - SE 4x2 King Cab All Regions

Pros: an option for a bigger gas tank would have been nice

Cons: I love this truck, everything is so well thought out.

Advice: Don't wait, this is hands down the best truck of this size out there.

This is an awesome truck - I love it The sound system, the roominess, the power, the seats, etc.... it is just a great truck. I tow 6,000 lb trailers, and you can hardly tell its back there (except the mpg goes down - but more about drag of the trailer than the weight). if doing 55 and you want to pass, you are at 85 in a few seconds... the power is incredible at every level. The Crew Cab is second to none for room in the back.

2005 Nissan Titan - SE 4x2 Crew Cab All Regions

Pros: the 5.6 liter v-8 is beyond powerful and sounds great as a bonus

Cons: the color choices that are offered on the titan leave alot to be desired

    Advice: just do it

we have had our titan 9 months now and had no problems at all. I would highly suggest though, if you aren't planning on buying this truck, don't test drive it. It will lure you into it's grip and like us you will be hooked on the titan and buy it ready or not.

2005 Nissan Titan - SE 4x2 King Cab All Regions

    Pros: Comfy Interior

Cons: SSV on the radio....until I disabled it (it's a Nissan thing)

Advice: Consider the 'Big Tow' package...even if you dont tow, the mirrors are very helpful for that blind spot!

When you enjoy driving your car every day, it says something..the ratings mean very little to me, as they are not accurate to my belief..such is my everyday with my 2004 King Cab SE..Here is a different reason to like this truck besides the comfort, power and sleek appearance.. With my wife and 2 year old daughter in the car, I was rear ended by a Chevy Venture minivan that did not even brake. The entire force of the van was taken by the truck. While we felt a 'big boom' as my daughter calls it, we were all safe. Safety is an important factor, and I was very impressed with the way the truck took it..in case you are wondering, the actual damage caused was to the tow hitch and frame only, it was almost not visible. The entire frame was replaced, fortunately by a professional who was quite meticulous. Nearly a year later, I still drive it daily.

2005 Nissan Titan - LE 4x4 King Cab All Regions

    Pros: Power, Looks

Cons: Gray interior, no choice of leather, sound system dials too complicated to change while driving,

    Advice: Get it!

Be sure to test drive this truck before you buy Ford, GM, Dodge. My 2005 Titan is fantastic! Pulls my 26' fifth wheel trailer easily and smoothly with plenty of power for mountains and passing. Very comfortable, responsive, excellant quality at an unbelievably low price.
