2003 Nissan Sentra - SE-R ULEV (M5)
Pros: The 2.5 Litre Incline 4 engine.
Cons: The interior door panels.
Advice: Buy it, good car that has alot covered under warrenty. The SE-R beats all of those cars that think thier rough and tough under the hood. There like lets race this sentra but i dont think they know whats under the hood! Unbelievable, i cant say how many cars i have beaten with this car. The car in the winter is also pretty good, but since the car has a lower profile the car tends to plow threw snow sometimes. The interior door panels are not very well built and tend to squeek and rattle. The clutch, gas and brake pedel are very well and comfortable. There is not alot of leg room in the back me being 6'4' find it very uncomfortable to be in the back longer than 30 mins. Any size under 5'10' would be comfortable. The drivers seat has a wide range of positions for the awkward driver. The sound system is also good for a 4 door family sedan.
2006 Nissan Sentra - S State) (M5)
Pros: rockford fosgate stereo
Cons: horsepower(which I don't need)
Advice: resale value...this is my 3rd sentrabest car for the money
2005 Nissan Sentra - S (50 State) ULEV (M5)
Pros: I got the Special Edition and my favorite feature is the 6 cd changer and sound quality.
Cons: The pick up on the car is a little slow and the back seat lacks a little comfort
Advice: Make sure you test drive all your potential cars - i did and fell in love with my NissanCar is great!
2005 Nissan Sentra - SE-R (50 State) LEV (A4)
Pros: Torque off the line
Cons: No Cigarette lighter yet 2 12v Outlets
Advice: If you want a NEw car Thats dont cost both legs but got power and Some good Factory sound Go for it . Chicks checkd me out the first day n I just flew past em ;)I was sold on the power this Car shows right off the line with just the tiniest press of the gas and She handles Great with the Stock 16 ' firestones . I bought it yesterday and already love it As my first ever new car . As mentioned by another' the system isnt quite as good as some other rockfords Ive heard ' a good example is in the 06 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS I was previously checking out , but that wasnt nearly as spacious as the Sentra and Had the same hp
2004 Nissan Sentra - S (50 State) ULEV (M5)
Pros: It's dependable. I don't wonder if it will start in the morning!
Cons: If you only use vented air, it comes past the engine and is hot by the time it gets to the inside of the car. I do not want to use the air conditioning at all--personal preference. Opening the windows works quite well, but that vented air is an irritant.
Advice: I've had good luck with this car. It rides well, get great gas mileage, looks good. Look around, but this is a really good little car.I've had Nissans in the past, so there wasn't much that was unexpected. It seems as roomy as my old car, but looks narrower from the back. Acceleration and braking were good. Heat works very nicely. CD player has a really good sound.
2003 Nissan Sentra - GXE (50 State) (M5)
Cons: the stalling problem
Advice: get a good warrantywhen I first saw my car I was in love with it but after a month the car started stalling when i tired to start i took it to greenville nissan and on two different occassions they said nothing was wrong with the car now my warranty is gone on the car still stalls sometimes.
2005 Nissan Sentra - SE-R (50 State) LEV (A4)
Pros: Power, Stereo and Moonroof
Cons: Road noise, body styling, paint job
Advice: DO NOT PAY STICKER....it is not worth the $20K price tag.......I just purchased my 2005 Nissan Sentra SE-R last month (07/04/2005) and so far have been fairly happy with it. The power is highly commendable for a 4 cylinder engine. I love the moonroof and the trip computer the car comes with. When I first bought the car I was over estaticed about the Rockford Fosgate stereo until I turned the volume up fairly loud. It is ostensible that the speakers are not Rockford Fosgate:(..only the stereo unit...how lame!! Also the vehicle is terribly noisy for a Japanese car. I have owned 5 Hondas and they were all very quiet. The paint job appears cheap. The paint job appears cheap as I have only 1400 miles on my car and it has appx 4 chips on the front bumper which seems excessive to me. The styling is rather archaic especially when compared to a Mazda 3. What makes this vehicle so attractive is the power and options provided for the price of $17,500 after a $2,500 rebate that was applied. That is frankly the only reason I went with this particular car. I would have gone with a Mazda 3, but it was pricier and offered no rebate incentives. Overall for tyhe options and price it is an awesome bargain. I just hope that it holds up to the 'Japanese Car' stereotype of excellent craftsmanship and quality.
