    2002 Nissan Maxima - GLE (A4)

Pros: engine, transmission, Bose system, micron air filtration, reliability,

    Cons: Nothing

Advice: This vehicle will give you many great years of enjoyment because they last forever.

When I first test drove the 2002 Nissan Maxima GLE, the handling and speed was awesome. The steering and cornering abilities were better than my old 1990 Nissan 300ZX and it had over 30 more horsepower. I knew I had to purchase this car (GLE Meridian edition) and got a great deal with .9% financing. The driver seat has great lumbar and lateral support. The fit and finish of this car is tops among its class of vehicles. I could say with confidence that for the money it is the best sports sedan for under $30,000 (maybe even $35,000). The only car that comes really close is the Acura TL. Also, the reliablity of this vehicle is second to none. I believe that this car has not had a recall in 12 years. That is an amazing track record for this vehicle and that fact alone should make you avoid even considering buying a domestic car.

    2002 Nissan Sentra - SE-R Spec V (M6)

    Pros: Race-ready

Cons: Race-ready = stiff suspension = rough ride on bad roads

Advice: I'd start it in 2nd

Bought my Spec-V about 3 weeks ago - this is the most car for your money you are going to find anywhere. It's very comfortable, roomy, affordable, attractive, and sporty. Don't buy a Focus, Neon, Civic, or any small car until you've tested this one. If you can't appreciate the ergonomics and economics of this car, you WILL appreciate its' ability to cover ground in a hurry. The feature list is huge - Power everything, AC, fog lights, six speed, Z-rated 17' tires/wheels, sunroof, 6-disc, 9 speakers, 300watt amp, 8' subwoofer, 175hp, limited-slip differential, front strut brace, folddown rearseat, etc etc. The six-speed is absolutely fluid. Want to own a car that will turn heads with looks and sound, get great gas mileage, be fun to drive, costs 3-5 grand less than similarly equipped models, have every little feature and still beat a mustang in a drag race?? It ain't nowhere but Sentra.

    2002 Nissan Maxima - SE (M6)

    Pros: Handling/Power

    Cons: Suspension

Advice: Make sure you get this one for under invoice

Highway acceleration is definitely a step ahead of other cars in its class and the handling beats Camry and Accord (trade off for a rougher ride I guess). Make sure you take it over a few bumps and take the GXE or GLE if the SE isn't to your liking. I love driving my SE, but can't help but wonder if the GXE might have fit my driving more closely. For a price in the low 20's though, you have to be happy with this car.

    2002 Nissan Sentra - SE-R Spec V (M6)

    Pros: power

    Cons: seats could be softer

Advice: not a family car, otherwise buy it! Affordable.

It's almost pertect. The sport tires and custom wheels blow the field away in style. The power, WOW! The accelleration is unbelievable! Other vehicles in it's class feel sluggish after an exhilerating spin in the SPEC V. Mash the gas pedal after shifting into second and feel the G's. Handles beautifully. Interior? Unique and very attractive. Body style impressive, people notice you. Seats could be more cushy.

    2002 Nissan Sentra - GXE (M5)

    Pros: Feeling of comfort

Cons: Actual passenger space and cargo space

    Advice: Go for it

After having test driven 2 different Sentras I was hooked. The seating could be more comfortable and there could be more leg room, but I get an overpowering sense of comfort. It was well equiped on the GXE models without adding anything, and this I really liked.

    2002 Nissan Sentra - SE-R Spec V (M6)

Pros: The comfort of the car.

Cons: The back end is too round.

Advice: Make sure you like stick. It's a fun car.

I test drove the Spec-V, Honda Civic EX, Saturn LS-2. I did a lot of research on a dozen cars and my final decision was the Spec-V. You go with the better of the two Sentra's for 2002 and you get a better buy. The stereo system is very nice and the handling of the car says it all. The acceleration is much better than the Civic EX, which is a popular car... I still get more people looking my way because it is not a car seen a lot on the streets.

    2002 Nissan Altima - 2.5 S (M5)

    Pros: styling and performance

    Cons: dash center

Advice: excellent car for family and daily commutes

Mahhhvelous. The 175hp four cyl. engine is surprisingly powerful.Performance and handling are super.More interrior room than Honda Accord and Toyota Camry.Head turning good looks, comfort and horsepower/torque make the car a serious contender. All this for less money than the Camry and Accord.Anyone looking for a midsize four door sedan do yourself a favor and try the Altima. You will be pleasantly surprised.
