    2002 Nissan Altima - 2.5 S (M5)

Pros: The roominess and the appearance.

Cons: The dashboard needs improvement and noisy in the freeway.

Advice: The Maxima is still the way to go.

The appearance of the car is definitely beautiful. When you drive it, you can feel the power when you shift to 3rd gear but the car feels light. There's a strange noise on the left hand side of the dashboard like a heater fan when the car is off. The noise level on the freeway is high.

    2002 Nissan Maxima - SE (M6)

    Pros: Engine

    Cons: Real Taillights

Advice: The Maxima won't fail you.

I love this car! It is comfortable, roomy, safe and exciting! Incredible bargain! Beats the Camry & Accord without a problem. I still haven't been able to figure out why the Maxima doesn't outsell its class.

    2002 Nissan Sentra - GXE (M5)

    Pros: Excellent frame rigidity.

    Cons: No ABS.

Advice: Recommended for short or long time owners

What i like is the feedback that the car is giving us, it is very informative, and you are very aware of what is going on with the car you're driving, giving you also a nice feeling of total control. Every pieces of equipment is working perfectly and efficiently in this car, from the A-C and electrics, up to the wippers! The layout is good, and it give an impression of great overall quality. I rent the GXE 2001 version, and i see it as an excellent car for grown-ups, and people who buy theirs first brand new car.

    2002 Nissan Sentra - SE-R (M5)

    Pros: ENGINE TECHNOLOGY

    Cons: CUP HOLDERS

Advice: SPEC-V REQUIRES PREMIUM GAS SE-R DOES NOT

I BOUGHT THE SENTRA SE-R, MANUAL TRANSMISSION HAS MORE POWER THEN ANYTHING ELSE IN THE PRICE RANGE. QUALITY AT THE PRICE PAID CANNOT BE BEAT. NISSAN IS THE AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRIES BEST KEPT SECRET IN THE COMPACT CAR CLASS.

    2002 Nissan Maxima - GLE (A4)

Pros: engine, transmission, Bose system, micron air filtration, reliability,

    Cons: Nothing

Advice: This vehicle will give you many great years of enjoyment because they last forever.

When I first test drove the 2002 Nissan Maxima GLE, the handling and speed was awesome. The steering and cornering abilities were better than my old 1990 Nissan 300ZX and it had over 30 more horsepower. I knew I had to purchase this car (GLE Meridian edition) and got a great deal with .9% financing. The driver seat has great lumbar and lateral support. The fit and finish of this car is tops among its class of vehicles. I could say with confidence that for the money it is the best sports sedan for under $30,000 (maybe even $35,000). The only car that comes really close is the Acura TL. Also, the reliablity of this vehicle is second to none. I believe that this car has not had a recall in 12 years. That is an amazing track record for this vehicle and that fact alone should make you avoid even considering buying a domestic car.
