    2004 Nissan Quest

    Wonderful vehicle

Pros: Inside room & comfort/ little upkeep expense

Cons: It has a bit of wind noise at 70-75 mph

A very fine MiniVan, with excellent driving comfort & feel, lots of room (so much the word 'Mini' shouldn't apply), 25 MPH (actual highway) & 19-21 around town, trouble-free for six years and 60 K miles. We have no plans to replace it yet.

    2004 Nissan Quest - SE (A5)

Pros: We like everything about the van.

Cons: AC not real cool, but remedied by the dealer.

Advice: The 07 is redesigned with some excellent improvements.

We don't understand what all the fuss is about in terms of quality. Our 2004 is just wonderful to drive, and we have had not problems other than recalls from Nisson. We are about to buy an 07.

    2004 Nissan Quest - SE (A5)

    Pros: Style & looks

    Cons: Quality is lacking.

Advice: Just plain and simple don't buy it.

Don't do it. You'll be sorry just like we are. QUEST=LEMON. We have had this top of the line Quest for 3 months and have nothing but problems. The dealer is of little help and Nissan will only get minimally involved with their own piece of junk. We're filing a lemon law complaint.

    Pros: power rear door

    Cons: cupholder location in back

Advice: Don't do it you will probably regret it.

Purchased an 04 quest and have had in shop multiple time from rattling sliding door to transmission problems has 22000 miles. Very dissappointed we have a nissan pickup 1996 and haven't had one problem. Buyer beware very upset.

    2004 Nissan Quest - SL (A4)

Pros: with two kids, it's functional

    Cons: noisy sliding door

Advice: don't buy, every maker has a van and none have been designed as poorly

Comfortable and spacious and then you drive it for a week...drivers side sliding door noise is not fixable. It seems to lose power steering when not accelerating. There is a bad vibration in the steering wheel that makes you think something is wrong with your wheels. The captains chair cupholders jab you in the leg when you're getting in and out. The headrests have to be removed everytime you want to drop last row of seats. So hard to handle in tight areas, can't tell if your straight or not in parking, can't see front end....

    2004 Nissan Quest - SL (A4)

    Pros: The CD player

    Cons: Air Conditioning

Advice: If the A/C and gas mileage is important to you check other vehicles.

The Gas mileage is awful, 16 mpg around town. The air conditioner is designed poorly. I was asked to pay $125 FOR A RECHARGE after 18 months because it is not covered under warrenty if the service department can't find the leak that caused the recharge to be necessary. I had it recharged and the system got cooler for 3 days. I had it rechecked 1 week later and I was told that it was at peak performance. (It NEVER gets COLD). With gas going up in price I feel like I got duped and can't do anything about it. It does run fine though. A slight shimmy when I apply the breakes is also a little disturbing.

    2004 Nissan Quest - SL (A4)

    Pros: Style and handling

Cons: Folding seats are difficult to fold and set back upright.

Advice: I wouls still buy this van

I had 4 recalls and my experience was favorable with Dealer and fixes made. Great riding with easy driving effort. No noise with mine.
