    2007 Nissan Maxima

    Good car

    Pros: non glar outside mirrors

    Cons: fuel milage

My only problem is fuel milage is not great at about 22mpg. My old car was a Pontiac Bonnivle at 28mpg. Drive very little and the gas gage drops quickley and it makes it stunning.

    2007 Nissan Maxima - SE

    Pros: engine

    Cons: front end design

Advice: this is a car for drivers not passengers. It is a sports sedan.

This is my third maxima. I do not know what car the lady in the pervious comentary drove, but the Maxima has been rated in the top of its class for the past 12, yes 12 years. There is simply nothing out there that delivers this much driving exicitment for the buck. I bought my loaded 2008 SE with leather for 29K in Orlando florida.

    2007 Nissan Maxima - SE

Pros: Steering wheel goes up when you shut off the care

    Cons: The entire car

    Advice: Buy a different car

The maxima is not a sedan, it is a car for teenagers. This cars rides worse then my truck on the highway it shakes like a bad fish can. This car was $35,000 dollars and marketed as a sedan. I drove a Pontiac sunfire for 10 years that drove better then this car. If you are considering a maxima, think no longer it is hands down the worse car I have ever driven. I would rather drive a bug. I tryed to return the car within 8 hours of buying it and was told by Foothill Nissan, sorry 'no cooling off period' I am not asking for my car back, I am asking for a car that rides nice on the road above 50 +55 MPH.

    2007 Nissan Maxima - SL

    Pros: heated steering wheel

Cons: still likes to slurp gas

    Advice: none owned it twice

Excellent car. best b alance of its class and easily the most loaded with cool tech for the price not to mention performance. by the way this guy reviewing is wrong, material and build quality is only inferior to the vw passat but not by much. the interior beats the 300, tl, avalon.

    2007 Nissan Maxima - SL

Pros: It's speed especially when passing. Unlike older versions I noticed zero lagging. This baby takes off instantly..

Cons: Wish the interior was a touch bit wider.

Advice: Go for all the accessories

First thing I noticed was the quickness and speed. On the test drive I passed a vehicle and no lag like previous years. This baby is like a jack rabbit. Very stable feeling even at triple digit speeds (oops! that wasnt me!). The SL has a lot of great accessories that makes this car a nice one to drive. I especially like the ability to blue tooth my cell through the car for hands free use. The rear sonar detector is nice when back up in tight places. The keyless systems is GREAT. Took a bit to get used to it, but now I love it. Bose Radio makes for some fine audio. This car has tons of extras that really make it enjoyable to drive.

    2007 Nissan Maxima - SE

    Pros: smart key

    Cons: smart key

Advice: smart key not so smart

On a scale of 1-10, I give the 2007 maxima a 4 for the smartkey lock on the driver door which can be easily compromised,If the lock is tampered with it automatically shorts a circuit which in turn disables the factory alarm and lowers both front windows thereby granting an intruder access to the car. It's costing me almost $2000 to fix that through my insurance with a $500 deductible, whats to stop another break-in from happening again.I spoke to nissan bout it and they seem not to be of much help.So for all you prospective nissan buyers be careful of the sleek looking maxima but not so secure smartkey system
