    2002 Nissan Frontier - SC-V6 (A4) 4x4 Standard Bed Crew Cab

    Pros: Looks, performance

    Cons: Fuel economy

Advice: Buy if fuel cost's are not a concern

Just piked up a 2002 Crew Cab S/C. The truck drives very well, is very comfortable and has a great look to it. In the short 2300 miles that I have owned this truck it has been an excellent work horse. The only draw back with this truck is the terrible gas milage, at the moment I am averaging 13 miles to the gallon, and the S/C only guzzels premium fuel. I hope that this improves as it breaks in more

    2002 Nissan Frontier - SC-V6 (A4) 4x2 Standard Bed Crew Cab

    Pros: Look of truck

    Cons: Tires

    Advice: The gas milage sucks.

Have 2001 SC crew cab, driven 17,000 miles thus far. Rides great, have been gawked at by at least 50 people. Gas milage is poor, I avg 16mpg, and I drive like a Floridian. Don't like the fit of the front fender flairs. There is little gap that lets pebbles get behind the flair and get stuck. Dealer agreed the fit was bad, and replaced them with new ones. They are better, but still not a good design. Tires are apt to hydroplane due to tread design and size.

    2002 Nissan Frontier - SC-V6 (A4) 4x2 Standard Bed Crew Cab

    Pros: The Supercharged engine!

Cons: extremely poor fuel economy and lack of topend power!

Advice: Be cautious if fuel economy is important

I own a 2001 S/C frontier, despite the lack of topend power, the vehicle is solid to Nissan standards. But, I firmly believe we can do better to improve the ponies under the hood and at the same time increase the fuel economy, via the supercharger.
