    2002 Nissan Frontier - SC-V6 (A4) 4x4 Long Bed Crew Cab

    Pros: Looks, Stability in 4wd.

    Cons: Rear seat room.

Advice: Run K&L air filter and Nissan's High Perf. Exhaust for real performance!

The Nissan is everything it is supposed to be, fun, functional, reliable, and sporty. It is not a substitute for a full sized truck, and unfortunatley one might find they get better gas mileage with a full size! Gets lots of looks, and the factory Rockford system rocks!

    2002 Nissan Frontier - SE-V6 (A4) 4x4 Standard Bed Crew Cab

    Pros: The appearance

    Cons: gas milage

Advice: Consider the lack of customer service by Nissan

This vehicle looks great and handles nicely. You can't beat the pricing vs. what you get when you compare it to other manufacturers trucks in its class. There's only one problem. If you have a major problem with it, DO NOT expect Nissan to be in any hurry to help you. Even though I loved mine, it has been in the shop with an unsolveable electrical system problem for more that 1/3 of the time I have owned it. Over a period of 60 days, I was able to drive it 5. All Nissan did was to drag their feet and give me the run around. Grant it the truck is a rare case, but keep this in mine before you buy. Customer service is not on the top of Nissan's list.

    2002 Nissan Frontier - SC-V6 (A4) 4x4 Standard Bed Crew Cab

    Pros: Looks

Cons: Weak motor and still a gas guzzler!

Advice: If you NEED pick-up functionality and power - keep looking, if you want to look good around town, drop the cash for one.

I test drove one and was slightly disappointed… 210 horses sounds like a lot, but the power was not overly impressive, and the truck is rated at the bottom of towing capacity in the class. Also, braking was a little slow, let me rephrase, I almost crashed on the test drive. As car as comfort, style and looks, I love this truck, looks cool, comes with/has available lots of goodies; roof rack and step bars are cool. My dealer (Elmwood Park Nissan, NJ) sucked and never even got back to me with a final price. Ultimately I bought a Mazda B4000. More power, better ride, superior performance: but less frills and not quite as cool looking. I am looking forward to the convertible Nissans next year – that may be worth the less powerful engine!

    2002 Nissan Frontier - XE (M5) 4x2 King Cab

    Pros: Reliability

    Cons: Small spare tire

    Advice: Get the Power package

I've had my modest little king cab xe now for about 4 months and its been no less than perfect. The rims and front bumper look great. All the guages and interior are well layed out and user friendly. Jump seats in back are pretty useless unless you have 5'2', 100 pound friends. holds four coolers well though. Only complaint is the Stupid donut spare tire. Gas milage has been about 22-23 miles/gallon, about 350 miles off the 16 gallon tank.

    2002 Nissan Frontier - SC-V6 (M5) 4x4 King Cab

    Pros: supercharged 4x4,

    Cons: gas mileage

Advice: great vehicle well worth the money

I purchased my 2001 in Feb of 2002 I got such a great deal on the price its hard to be critical. My truck came with every option for 2001. I live in a remote desert region of West Texas. It's approximately 60 miles to the nearest town so needless to say I drive alot. I tow everything from motorcycles, furniture, you name it. The supercharger is great I dont even feel the extra load when towing. The interior has frankly spoiled me I never thought i would appreciate leather seats and 6 disc cd changer. I am constantly being stopped and questioned about the truck and supercharger. NOW to the things I dont like. When I purchased my truck it was missing a bolt on the front shock absorber. I didnt notice it until I hit dirt roads. Also both electic window regulators went out at about 5,000 miles. The dealer corrected the problems immediatly. I was told that Nissan is having problems with the window reguators just a heads up. Also a K& N air filter has boosted my miles per gallon by about 3 miles per gallon. I running at about 17 mile per gallon now.
