    2002 Nissan Altima - 2.5 S (M5)

Pros: The style of the car

    Cons: The trunk hinges

Advice: Skip the Accord, Camary, and all the others. Nissan scored big with this car.

This car is the quickest four cylinder that I have ever had the privilege of driving. The car handles great, and is comfortable. I would recommend that you keep your money and get the 2.5 S with the convince package or the 2.5 SL. Skip the basic Altima, because the extras give it class.

    2002 Nissan Altima - 3.5 SE (M5)

    Pros: It's amazing new styling

    Cons: nothing

Advice: Drive and compare the 2.5L and 3.5L

I was thrilled when I first encountered the new Altima! I had been considering more expensive options and was amazed to find out that I could get a gorgeous car with all of the options I was looking for. I first drove the 2.5 but was sold when I took the 3.5 for a spin. I love driving this car! Nissan should have renamed this car because it is worlds away from last years model. Bravo, Nissan!

    2002 Nissan Altima - 3.5 SE (M5)

    Pros: Xenon headlights

    Cons: Absolutely nothing

Advice: This is a great car. If you like cars that are sporty, have killer styling, and the economy of a V6; this is the car you want.

I'm a father of 2, so I needed a car with room, practicality, and good looks. At first, I was going to buy a Honda Accord, then Nissan exploded with the 240bhp Altima for 2k2. I was blown away by the styling so I just had to have one. I got this killer deal from Star Nissan in NYC, so I test drove it and bought it the next day. So far, after 2 months, it has surpassed my expectations about an import. It's so fast, people have asked me if it's a turbo or on Nitrous. I just tell them no, it's brute force from Nissan.

    2002 Nissan Altima - 2.5 S (M5)

    Pros: The engine

Cons: The taillights, but they have grown on me.

    Advice: I love this car!

I love this car. Don't bother with the V6, the 2.5 is plenty powerful and with the V6 you need atleast 91 octane gas. Passing in this car is so fun! Excellent on gas. Also roomy and comfortable. Beware-it is very expensive to fix, I was in an accident at 3000 miles:(, nearly 6000$ to fix what should have been about 3800$. I rented a Malibu while it was in the shop and couldn't get over the difference. I missed my Altima!

    2002 Nissan Altima - 3.5 SE (M5)

    Pros: Powerful V6

    Cons: Floor carpeting

Advice: Consider this car before deciding on the competition

We have owned Camry V6's in the past. The Altima V6 is just a better engine. Overall the car has performed beatifully. The price is hard to negotiate but worth it in the end. Unsure of the long term but from what I've seen so far, a solid car that turns heads.

    2002 Nissan Sentra - GXE (M5)

    Pros: features

Cons: 2x to the dealer for minor issues

    Advice: A serious contender

The Sentra really is an excellent car. I got a sporty looking car with an engine cheap and sturdy that's fun as hell to drive the materials are great. and I find that they stand out amongst the sea of civics out there

    2002 Nissan Altima - 3.5 SE (M5)

    Pros: Then V6 engine.

    Cons: No power seat memory.

Advice: Shop several dealers against each other.

Great looks, great engine & transmission. Some interior features on the cheap side, but none of the important features. Lots of storage space, great drink holders. A great family car for the young (and still alive) family.
