2006 Nissan Altima - 2.5
Submitted on 10/18/2009 12:05:00 PM- Summary
Pros: Power
Cons: City Mileage
Advice: Buy - Consumer Reports rates the Altima #1.
I have a 2005 3.5 SE. The car is scarey fast, looks fantastic, only maintenance issue was a loose window mechanism on the drivers door, and gets fantastic mileage. Average 32 mpg on the highway at 70 mph. Best car I've had and I've owned 30+.

2009 Nissan Altima - 2.5 S (CVT) Sedan w/CVT
Submitted on 9/10/2009 6:08:08 AM- Summary
Pros: CVT, Mileage 27 city/45 hwy (I also amazed to see that when I reached FL in half tank)
Cons: Road and AC noise, which won't make your ride too quite.
Advice: Get it with full 2.5 SL adn other add-ons, you won't need to have any costly luxury cars.
Wow! It was really a smooth drive and had never feel gear change due to its CVT. Even at speed between 40-45 RPMs are below 1500. Nice comfortable drive with whole family. Love it.

Pros: Nissan Intelligent Key
Cons: NOTHING!!!!
Advice: If you've not considered this car yet
The test drive was incredible. I had so much fun playing with the manual mode that comes with the CVT transmission!! I thought how the steering wheel got 'harder' to turn the faster you go, is a great safety feature, because I sometimes find myself bouncing around the lane at fast speeds. The I-Key is fantastic, I wake up, put it in my pocket, and take it out when I get home at night. The car is fast, and gets great gas mileage. I live in central Pennsylvania where there's mountains, and not really JUST city or highway driving, and I average over 34 mpg. If you have a family, this is also a very safe vehicle. But, I like it for its look, speed, and handling :)

2005 Nissan Altima - 2.5 S
Submitted on 8/10/2008 1:01:51 AM- Summary
Pros: Smooth Ride
Cons: Body seems more malleable than should be
Advice: Please test drive few Nissans and consider space, style & experience!
Just purchased my 2005 Altima 2.5SL...its HOT. Love the leather, the Bose system, the sunroof...the performance tires are so worth it! Going from 2002 Saturn SL1 to an Altima...is a ridiculous change up! It's BLISS! Drives well, great shocks/suspension, sounds great, & wow, do I get LOOKED AT while driving around !! Loving my new ride thusfar!!

Spiffy pick up
Pros: Pick up and handleing
Cons: Noisy road sounds.
I enjoy this car. It's fun to drive, It has great pick up and handling. However that being said,it dosn't have quite the comfort and is noisey from the road and tires.
