Pros: Combo of power and mileage.
Cons: Would like to see Toyota offer a wider tire and wheel package on this car. That would add to the looks and performance.I love this car. Owned it since new and have put 145K miles on her with no major issues. Plenty of power, averages 28+ MPG city/hwy. Roomy and comfortable for all.
Cons: consoleThis car is sexy, sporty, plus luxurious. Supererior comfort ,and great handling and performance
Pros: the room, the ride, the reliability
Cons: passing startsonly one noticeable flaw= pickup when passing; there is a slight hesitation, then all is fine. the hesitation is a concern when about to pass.
Pros: mileageEnjoy my Highlander, no problems, only great performance
BEST CAR FOR THE PRICE
Pros: Lots of leg/headroom; Excellent reliability record
Cons: Wish they had kept the Dark Gray interior.Needed to trade-in our '94 Benz S430. Costing more to keep running than it was worth. Looked at E-Class Benz, LS & GS Lexus, A/S6 and A/S8 Audi's, 5 and 7 Series BMW. Finally settled on the '11 Avalon, but '11 E-Class V8 Benz and GS Hybrid were a close second (Love those AMG's, but ouch!!! The $$$). Been looking at Avalon since the '09 model. Liked the change in the console. Having screen for Nav behind 'glass' was cumbersome. Like the extension and multiple memory for the driver seat (I'm 6' 2'). Lots of room in the rear, even for me. Don't know why they needed two (2) separate locks for the tilt/telescope steering wheel. Miss the Laser Cruise Control. Upgrades on interior styling help bring it closer to the more costly Lexus. Like the change for the exterior rear, also. Checking brouchure stats show that Avalon has more leg, head & shoulder room than LS Lexus. Seems to have more pick-up from standing start and passing than the previous models, although not as good as the German rollers, but Avalon is much less costly to maintain than the Deutche's.
Such an improvement!
Pros: The Bluetooth and voice navigation.
Cons: Nothing so far, and Im on 8500 miles.I rented the 2010 Avalon and drove it 1000 miles at least and fell in love with it! I then bought the 2011. Im only 25, so the styling isnt awesome, but its okay. I love the comfort, and that makes up for it! You can also mod it with TRD packages.
