2002 Suzuki XL-7 - Plus (M5) 4x4
Pros: Power performance and comfort!!!! A+++++
Cons: The arm rest and sun visor are both to short. C-
Advice: Research before you buy and compare Susuki to all other models.Great handling and towing. Comfort is wonderful and cargo room is the best! Great stereo system. Bought in Nov. 2001 and we'll buy again when the 2004 models come out. A excellent SUV for your money. Compared online and with 4x4 magazine and then test drove 5 different SUV's before I bought my XL-7 and I am thankful for it!
2002 Suzuki XL-7 - Standard (M5) 4x4
Cons: so far the only thing that i found was the shocks don't seem to be wroking like they should?
Advice: I would buy another one of thesein driving this vehicle i find that the rear shocks are soft when going over bumps in the shopping center and at high speed it seems to float like there are no rear shocks when i hit or go over small bumps in the highway . i took the vehicle to the dealer and had them examine the shocks and they said that my tires were over inflated, they readjusted the tire presure. but i now have gone about 400 miles more and when i go in a shopping center where there are speed bumps it still feels like it is floating, I'm going to drive it another 500 to a 1000 miles and see what happens? i now have about 900 miles on this vehicle.
2002 Suzuki Aerio SX - (M5)
Pros: Good seating room in a small, nimble car.
Cons: Lack of coin, etc. trays on the brake/tranny console.
Advice: Compare with other similar vehicles.Seats are a little stiff but comfortable. The suspension lets the driver feel the bumps in the road, but that is to be expected in a small, sporty car. Very good headroom due to the height-adjustable driver's seat; also good legroom in the back seat even with the driver's seat all the way back (I'm 6'2' with a tall upper body and I fit this car well). There is limited areas to put your 'stuff' so will have to settle with the glovebox and a pull-out tray under the passenger seat. The car is fairly quick and nimble due to the 2 litre/141 hp engine. It is relatively well loaded with creature comforts (the only options are floor mats, transmission, and external colors).
2002 Suzuki XL-7 - Limited (A4) 4x4
Pros: automatic lights
Cons: no place for the cd's
Advice: worth every centhandled really well
2002 Suzuki Grand Vitara - JLX (M5) 4x4
Cons: Cargo Space
Advice: Consider automatic unless you like a lot of shiftingPurchased in '99 my 'Planet Gold' Zuk now has 80K meter and is running strong a new. 5 Speed delivers av. 24mpg. Only repair was oil leak @ 75K in trans seal. Tow my twin engine jet boat over the Cascades with no problem. Handles like a 'Go Kart'. Paint, interior is holding well. Solid little truck thats fun to drive. The XL7 solves cargo issues and added rear seat room. A great value.
2002 Suzuki XL-7 - Limited (A4) 4x4
Pros: The value. Looks and rides nice too!
Cons: Only 1 color available for the interior. Very small third seat. The cruise control button is on the dash.
Advice: Do your homework. Compare it to comparable vehicles. Test drive it in a variety of situations to really get a feel for how it handles.A lot of vehicle for the money! Other vehicles in the same price range don't have the little extras you get with the XL7 (tinted windows, air filtration sytem, extra power outlet in back). The smaller size makes it easier to manuver and park. Comfortable ride. The split seats fold for a variety of cargo options.
2002 Suzuki XL-7 - Touring (M5)) 4x4
Pros: extra seating, 4-wheel drive, and sunroof
Cons: all the control placements
Advice: If you like the SUV's with a touch of a van this vehicle is for you.Very nice vehicle that drives extremely smooth. All the power a person would need with a little extra. Also, very quiet ride with no extra noises from anywhere.
