    Hard to beat!

    Pros: room for all

    Cons: seats/ride

Over all you can't fault much. Three negatives.... Headlights have been blinding people since day one and can't be adjusted low enough. Seats are WAY TO SHORT in the butt. Only your butt and the top 3rd of your thigh is on any cushion. Rides like a buckboard on the highway.... no suspension travel, stiff springs, tires have no sidewalls to cushion ride. Mileage and performance is spectacular.... just don't plan any long trips. (50+ miles)

    A fantastic Vehicle

    Pros: Space!!!!!!!

Cons: When you are used to a lot of power , you have to adjust. but for what the XB its hard to complain.

The first time that I sat in the Scion XB It was during the gas crisis. I had just gotten rid of my mini-van . I needed to downsize but I also wanted space . After trying on so many cars I could not believe how amazing it was to sit in the XB I knew I had to have it. Interior space is unbelievable , gas mileage is great, It's unique look turns heads, truly dependable ... A fantastic vehicle!!!!

    Looks small, but big design

    Pros: the different look

Cons: lack of room in rear

The box look of these models seem like they'd be small, but inside their is lots of room for seating. They only lack in the rear area, so packing anything is a chore. It's lacking on power, but makes up for it with gas mileage. Plus the driver assist features (Vehicle Stability Control, Traction Control, Skid Warning) may keep it stuck to the road, but take away from any chance at power. Despite the low ground clearance, living in the Midwest it seems to get around good as I've only got it stuck in snow twice. Overall a great vehicle for the price, if you want something different for a family.

    2011 Scion xB

    Very Satisfied - Turns Heads

Pros: Head room, rear seat leg room, large doors

Cons: No engine temperature indicator. Factory base wheels.

Yea, I know. Not everyone likes a 'toaster', but this is a great car! (even for mid-life crisis). My 2011 is getting 29-30mpg mixed driving. Added custom wheels and a Category II hitch for some very light hauling. Mine is new color 'Army Rock' which is an Army brown.

    2009 Scion XB

    Pros: the look

Cons: the non automatic off of interior & exterior lights

I love my softly rounded box, great pickup and go, and it handles nicely. The interior though is somewhat plastic looking, and scuffs show easily. I also fault the VERY low tone of alarms for leaving your lights on and seat beats warnings. I have a hearing deficit, so I ended up leaving my lights on a few times as I adjusted to a car that does not have automatic light turnoff. I believe this is a huge safety issue, both the low tone, and the non-automatic lights off. My family agree the warning tones, are very hard to hear, even for those with regular hearing ability. If you were to leave your lights on in an unsafe area, and you come out with a dead battery, this could become a HUGE safety issue. You have to love Scion's pure pricing with all your options loaded from the start: cruise, stereo, power windows, mirrors, etc, the automatic lights off/on was a poor choice to be left out.

    2008 Scion xB

    Practical bike hauler

Pros: interior room with the seats folded down

    Cons: The seats

I bought the car 15 months ago. It's very practical. With the back seats folded down, I can stuff my road bike in without removing the front wheel, or I can stuff two bikes in if I remove the front wheels and seats. However, after 15 months, I'm still not used to the driver's seat. It's ok if I place a cushion behind my back.

    2008 Scion xB

Excellent vehicle for seniors and young drivers.

Pros: Good milage per gallon and fun to drive.

    Cons: None so far.

This 2008 vehicle, with automatic transmission, has averaged 24 miles per gallon since I prichased it new in 2007. It has a large cargo capacity with the back seats folded gown and ample cargo area for grocery shopping and day to day usage. It is comfortable, very 'peppy' with 4 cyl engine and fun to drive. I have driven it about 30,000 miles since purchased new and have had no mechanical failures, major or minor. I am very satisfied with the performance.
