    2005 Porsche Boxster - S (M6)

Pros: Fun to drive-engine and transmission

Cons: CD-changer. No random play between discs(picky, but you asked)

Advice: Buy it - not a great 'value' but I'm glad my common sense lost out to my love for the car.

Drives like no other car I have ever owned. Great handling, acceleration(6-speed), engine sounds and overall fun to drive. I have owned a 98 Corvette and 04 350Z . The Boxster S shines in comparison. The only thing better is a 911.

    2005 Porsche Boxster - Base (M5)

Pros: Triptonic transmisson (my other car had a manual).

Cons: Wish it came with a switch for passenger air bags

Advice: Try it, you'll like it...........

The test drive was great, thrilling to be exact and I bought the car!!! It was just what I was looking for, seal gray metallic, Triptonic, etc. This is my 2nd Porsche and I AM a fan! The dealer was terrific and let me drive several cars, to make sure that the Boxster was the one I wanted. Remember, girls, this car is NOT just for a man.

    2003 Porsche Boxster - S (M6)

Pros: Sizzling performance, tenacious handling, legendary reputation.

Cons: Costly options make the car upwards of 50K , vulnarable to attack by low-life.

Advice: After driving the very much entertaining Boxster S, it's no wonder that the Porsche has so many fans. The car is loads of fun.

Driven sedately, the muscle-bound Boxster S is docile and easy to drive. But stab the throttle and the car blasts through the first four gears like a roller coaster rushing downhill, with the urgent song of the flat six at full cry. Speed is reigned in quickly by easily modulated and incredibly powerful brakes that feel as though they could stop a semi in short order. The 'S' is equally at ease running through various turns, possessing dead neutral poise that belies the rear-engine architecture. The steering has a reassuring heft and plenty of feedback that allows one to easily settle into a rhythm. In the ugly reality of rush-hour traffic, however, one quickly realizes why so many people opt for automatics in their sports cars. Work the S's heavy clutch enough and you might expect your left leg to resemble Arnold's in his bodybuilding heyday. Fortunately, Porsche offers its Tiptronic-style automatic transmission as an option. So no excuses not to get on!

    2003 Porsche Boxster - S (M6)

Pros: Extraordinary styling and an equally brilliant interior make it the best sport car Ive ever owned. previous/current cars: Mazda RX7 '93; BMW M3 '99; BMW M5 01'; Mercedes S500 '03. Fun to drive. Very fast.

Cons: Expensive for most, a little cramped on the inside (im 6'6''), 3 theift attempts and I live in Beverly Hills, Ca!

Advice: The Porsche Boxster S is for those who don't want a classless 350Z and eye sore Z4

precise, neutral steering; an aversion by the car to roll, squat or dive under heavy g forces or severe braking, and an almost insurmountable tendency to stay glued to the street and go precisely where it's told! And thats with the stability managment system ($799) off! Even in atrocious weather and some pretty determined driving I never ever feel the thing kick in, Thank you PSM!!!

    2003 Porsche Boxster - Base (M5)

    Pros: Handling

    Cons: seats a bit narrow

Advice: Buy an almost new one and save some $$$

Performance, performance, performance!! The Boxter is hard to beat! Excellent cornering, braking and good acceleration-smooth through the whole range-Easy electric top-no need for a boot! I like the two trunks-I also have an Audi TT Roadster Quattro- It's fun but the Porsche is a more refined car. Not as fast as a Corvette but excellent on windy roads

    2002 Porsche Boxster - Base (M5)

Pros: Hard to pick one favorite feature. I love the comfort in the seats, the power under the hood and the awesome styling. But the best thing is the amount of trunk space considering it is a sports car. I can have golf clubs in the back and still hit Publix

Cons: It is a sports car, so it is limited. But they could have made a little bit better cup holders (like that is a big deal considering all you get though).

Advice: What are you waiting for?? If you can afford it.....go get one. Actually....no don't buy it...then mine will be more unique.

When I sat down in this vehicle....it just ooozed class and craftmanship. I am tall, 6'2', and I have ample room in this vehicle...even with the top down. Taking it for a test drive....you could feel the power and responsiveness. You have complete control of this car at all times....it is not a pocket rocket that can only go in a straight line. I don't know about you....but I generally tend to make turns while I am driving. The car is great for daily driving as well as long trips....or just beating that little punk next to you off the red light. And the looks you get. I already had a woman pull of next to me asking what kind of car it was and then screamed 'I love it....I love it'. So if you are the type that wants to sit at home and be a wall flower....get a volvo. If you are the type that is the life of the party....get a porsche!
