Cons: the leaks..I hate the leaks...the cheap materials...
Advice: Don't buy one!Don't! This car is like Homer's Sirens. Do not base your decision on a test drive. This car loses its quality quickly.
Pros: panoramic sun roof
Advice: for a true sport sedan, get the GT versionPeppy, light and responsive with good handling in the corners and very little body roll.
Pros: the overall styling
Cons: rear visibility...but it is to be expected from a coupe
Advice: Just sign the papers and go enjoy your new car!!I didn't even need to drive the GT Coupe i bought....even though i did..lol. It is so amazingly beautiful!! And it has all the options and gadgets...remote start..monsoon stereo..heated seats...onstar...such an amazing car...i can't stop driving it!! Extremely comfortable seats...no backaches after long trips...great fuel economy...just all around the best car i bought/drove....
Pros: The car has great handling around curves and on slick roads.
Cons: The cost of the tires on the GTP model, you're looking at $150/ tire, at the least.
Advice: Do not test drive unless you have looked at all other cars, because you will buy it!!!I bought my G6 Coupe GTP in November 2005, and I have enjoyed every minute I've spent driving. I travel a lot with my job and I wanted to get a car that I loved to drive and could feel comfortable in while driving on long trips. The G6 Coupe exceeded my expectations.
Pros: Retractable top
Cons: Very little trunk space, none with top down
Advice: Don't pay the dealer mark up, about 2-4KHandles well, No noise when top is up. Power seats for driver side only. and no trunk space when top is retracted. Still would buy again
Pros: Information System Built In With The Radio In The Dashboard
Cons: This does not apply because I like everything about my Pontiac G6.
Advice: Great economy carThe Pontiac G6 V6 is a smooth ride. Give it acceleration and it really surpises you on how fast it can go. The brakes are excellent, which is the reason why I have not been in an accident. This is a very low maintenance car and is a very easy upkeep. The black interior is the best due to no one can see the stains on it if there's any. The Pontiac G6 is also very spacious: a lot of leg room and the trunk is huge. The best part of the experience of owning this car is the reasonable price and not to mention it's good on gas mileage and even better for highway miles.
Pros: The look and feel of the car..(Absolutely Great!)
Cons: The cupholders are a little awkward but I can live with that.
Advice: if you are looking at the sedan drive the GT and the V6 as I did and thhe V6 with all the extra options is a better deal than the GT. My dealer had base GT sedan starting at 23,000 and the V6 I have has more options, V6 and was less expensiveI recently purchased a 2006 G6 V6 (Loaded) with all the extras. I have no complaints with the vehicle. The test drive was great and the car has a very smooth and powerful V6. I was amazed at how solid the car is and that it doesnt feel flimsy. My G6 is Black/Black with upgraded stock 17's and has the panoramic roof, this is an extra cool feature but it does cut head room down. With all the other extra features like the remote start, spoiler great stero with the in dash cd changer, I am very happy with the car and like all of the extra room that it has. I will recommend the G6 as a great alternative to those other cars out there.
