Advice: Make sure you get all drivers to test drive. Some people love the ride, some don't.Pros: Loved the feel of the steering wheel.It's a nice tight, sporty feel. Very good handling, reasonably smooth ride. Also performs very well. Can't ask for much more for a compact sedan. Cons: Dashboard has cheap, plastic feel. You have to close the trunk quite hard for it to stay closed.
Pros: Outstanding sound system, handles well, lots of options.
Cons: Engine needs more horse power,torque and better milage.
Advice: Look at Ford. Chrysler still has Transmission problems.I've owned 2 Dodge Grand Minivans, 3.3L and the 3.8L engine, 27 mpg highway both engines. Both engines outperformed the 3.4L Olds in all areas. At 8K mi. this 2003 Silhouette GLS 3.4L V6 gets 18 mpg. city, 22 mpg. Highway, with or without cruise control on. With 4 adult passenagers it lacks power on hills and for passing. It's loaded with about everything but a DVD player. Even with the towing package, including self adjusting rear shocks, my friend at the Transmission shops warns me he won't tow anything with it. Considering the lack of power I would agree. That would really work the drive train. Front cup holder blocks access to some controls. Third row seat is hard to get to. Have not had to return to dealer for problems. Aquired this van in an estate sale, had 1.5k miles. Over all looks and features are good but I don't think they are any more outstanding than other U.S. built Van in this price range.
Cons: no heated seats...going to buy aftermarket!
Advice: good deals are out there..just gotta deal!Love it! Love it! Smooth, comfy, luxurious ride. The interior is so rich looking with the leather and wood trim. This is my first SUV so it's taking a little getting used to stepping UP into the vehicle rather than bending down into a car. My husband is so happy I went with the Bravada. Test drove Trailblazer's too, but the ride and interior and extra's the Bravada offers, was too much to resist. Too bad Oldsmobile is discontinuing them! Just hope gas prices don't go much higher. I do feel it in the wallet a bit but it won't stop me from driving in luxury!

I have owned the car for 22 months, and have had only two minor repair issues that were resolved quickly: small crack in console wood trim was replaced; noise in steering fixed with lubrication per service bulletin. While I basically put city miles on the car, I am averaging 22 mpg...totally unexpected! The interior is beautiful,while the exterior design is eye-catching. Anyone who has ridden with me in this gem cannot believe this is a domestic automobile. While I had briefly considered the Acura TL, the reports I had heard and read concerning its problem transmission made my choice perfectly clear. I will have no problem enjoying this car for three more years!

Advice: Don't buy one!I have owned a 2003 Oldsmobile Aurora 4.0 for a year now. It is among the worst cars I have ever owned. Although the car looks nice, the fit of the trim is very poor, the car has many rattles, and the customer service from GM has been very poor- in fact, they don't respond to my letters or phone calls. The overall quality of the Oldsmobile is very poor and not up to luxury car status. I am disappointed to say the very best. I would caution anyone considering an Oldsmobile (or GM) to be careful. This experience will make me consider a European luxury car next year for my next purchase. I am disappointed every morning I have to drive this GM. The time this GM has been in the shop has been excessive.
