    2005 Nissan Xterra - SE (A5) 4x2

Pros: my push guard on the front and taillight covers

Cons: interior could be spiffed up some

    Advice: Buy an X terra

When I test drove the X terra, I had a small Toyota Celica and was looking for a four door car. I had my heart set on the Nissan Altima, but drove it and wasn't as impressed as I thought I would be. My boyfriend suggested the black X terra w/ the championship pkg. I didn't think I could drive an SUV, but to my suprise I can drive one better than the 3 small cars I have owned. I absolutely loved it. I have had it almost 2 yrs now and still feel the same way. I can see well to change lanes, it does very well in the rain, and it extremely convenient and roomy. Not to mention nice to look at.

    2005 Nissan Xterra - SE (A5) 4x2

Pros: audio controls on the wheel and the premium sound system

Cons: no complaints got the color I wanted Avalanche (white)

Advice: try the others and you will come back to the Xterra for the price

Purchased new about 5K off the list price, solid construction, great seated view of the road, relatively quiet with a firm but controled ride Dimmer rear-view mirror a must for driving at night. A lot of vehicle and options for the price - no complaints about the MPGs

    2005 Nissan Xterra - Off Road (M6) 4x4

    Pros: quick clean rear interior

    Cons: nothing to date

Advice: do not buy the stock siderails

Overall the new X is a vast improvement over previous models. It has yet to be proven as far as longterm reliability but i am confident that should not be an issue. I have nearly 9K miles with only minor issues, those being, squeaky front end at low speeds, squeky front window when it is very hot outside and since this is a truck based suv, the rearend is a little stiff with no weight inside. Now don't get me wrong i love this vehicle and am more then happy i purchased it. To think i almost picked up an 04 because of the 0% financing.

    2005 Nissan Xterra - S (M6) 4x4

    Pros: Rugged and playful appearance.

Cons: Gas Mileage - but gas isn't cheap anymore unless you purchase one of those lame part gas part electic vehicles.

Advice: Buy it, you'll love it.

Aside from not having the arm rest in the front seat, I enjoy driving the truck and look forward to my next outing. We have a dog who absolutley loves going for a ride now that we have dumped our cougar and gone for something bigger.
