    2007 Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class - CLS550

    Pros: Styling

Cons: Lumbar seat controls and size of windows

Advice: Drive it and you'll see what I mean

Love it. Picked it up this weekend. Chose a cool color. Everyone stops, stares and admires it. Its definitely a looker. There are a few detail things Mercedes could have done better but overall its wonderful.

    2006 Mercedes-Benz E-Class - E350 RWD Sedan

    Pros: Comfort and performance

Cons: Better sound system - does not come standard with a CD changer

    Advice: None

Have owned now for about one year. Had a few problems within the first month, fuel leak and faulty stop lamp switch. Has been great ever since. I have driven both the 350 and 500, the performance that you get out of the 350 along with the better fuel mileage and lower price is a better deal.

    2006 Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class - CLS500

    Pros: looks and handling

    Cons: xenon lights optional?????????

    Advice: get the AMG

The air ride is absolutly awsome, the 7 speed transmission is great, great gas mileage but who cares about that...

    2006 Mercedes-Benz R-Class - R350

Pros: To many favorites, but I'd have to say its overall appearance.

Cons: Parktronic and power lift gate should be standard.

Advice: Parktronic, to help with those tight spaces and the power lift gate, especially if your shorter than 5' 6'.

Overall I give the R350 a 9 out of 10. The suspension, power and handling are definetly not what you'd expect from a vehicle whose size is comparable to the escalade. I forget that im drivng a truck most of the time, that is until I have to parallel park. One word describes this car best 'smooth'.

    2006 Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class - CLS500

    Pros: Looks

Cons: transmission - this is a noisy car

Advice: Wait a few years until they perfect the transmission and airconditioning

I have owned this vehicle since Aug 05 - IT is horrible! I had to replace the transmission 3 times! It still is not right - the shifting is noticable and unacceptable for a car of this cost. ALso beware of the sound coming from the engine when the air conditioning is on full blast -

    2006 Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class - CLS500

    Pros: style meets ride

Cons: the rear end - does anyone remember the oldsmobile aurora? extra $ for xenon? Nav system not as user friendly as others i have

Advice: shop around for the package you want

Extremely responsive and handles well. check out the turn radius! acceleration is good even at highway speeds though there is an occasional lurch. Visibility is slightly dimminished compared to other cars in its class. definitely gets looks wherever you go.

    2006 Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class - CLS500

    Pros: Keyless Go and Distronic

    Cons: Problems!!!!!!!!!!

    Advice: none

Well, i am a first time MBZ driver. Leased my first ever MBZ CLS500 fully loaded with MSRP of $81K+. However, i managed to get $73K OTD. The problem, everything MALFUNCTION Less then 48 hrs later. All the lights were on, SRS, check engine, cruise control, control unit, navi not working, everything not working. It makes me thing maybe the dealer knew about the problem and that is why they sell it cheap. I heard around that it's hard to get CLS500 and no dealer will let it go so much below MSRP. I also felt the transmission was jerking went i go from 1st to 2nd. I don't know but maybe i am bad luck. The sales guy drove my car and onto the pavement and scratched my Wheel!!!
