Pros: The awesome looks
Cons: The back seat is good for?....Who cares!
Advice: YesThe CLS is considered to be most peoples dream car. After owning one for two months, I don't want to wake up. Great design, fresh interior, superb power combine to make this vault-like sedan/coupe a masterpiece. If you're looking at BMW, Lexus, Jaguar, you must drive this car. It intimidates other drivers standing still and it takes your ego on a high octane flight. Gracious, elegant and blistering fast for a sedan... I highly recommend the car for its tremendous build quality, value as well as performance and style.
Pros: Night Assist
Cons: column shifter - perferm gear lever on the ground.
Advice: Make sure you can pay the fuel bills - this car ain't easy on fuel. Fuel must be super plus.I have a 207 MB S550 with almost all the options ecept distronic plus, and added AMG 20 inch wheels from S65. The ride quality is excellent even on the 20 inch wheels. Handling is also very good but the steering needs a bit more weight in my opinion. quality and fit and finish is perfect. Interior materials are best in class and the design is quite good, although I feel the Audi A8 is a bit more stylish inside. Exterior styling is good - but I feel the Audi A8 is prettier in this department too. Overall this car rides better than all of its rivals (including new Lexus Ls), handles as well as the benchmark Audi A8, and has superior fit and finish than any other vehicle whatever the price (I think its better built than Bentley Flying Spur. ) The Audi A8 may look better inside and outside and also has excellent quality but the Merc outshines it in ride comfort, features, and fit and finish.
Pros: It's gorgeous!
Cons: Back seat room kind of tight (but I'm 6'1' and 270#).
Advice: Be prepared to fall in love with this car.I fell in love with this car during the test drive. The ride was very smooth and quiet. Yet, the sport 1 & 2 settings gave me a great feel for the road. I was impressed with the power of the 380 hp engine (more horsepower than the '69 Chevelle SS 396 that I drove when I was in my teens). The comfort was fantastic and the level of detail impeccable.
Pros: The sport trim.
Advice: Buy it!I just had one of these on my lots for resale; a seller purchased the vehicle, but due to a nasty divorce had to sell it. Anyway, this is one of the best versions on the market today. The ride was smooth; the looks are awesome; and the vehicle will be very easy to sell.
Pros: panoramic sun roof (the best in its class)
Cons: rear end finish
Advice: per sq ft what you payWOW, I had ML series before, then drove other mercedes vehciles, i almost bought Audi Q7, then drove this R 350. Ride is as smooth as it can be, mileage for the size of this vehicle is phenomenal. Basically this is a S class and GL mixed in one with a beautifully carved vehicle for the price you pay.
Pros: Deep power, continuously, along the engines perfomance band.
Cons: All aspects of this automobile exceed my expectations.
Advice: The C 350 is superior to the Audi A4 and BMW 300 series.I picked up my U.S. Spec., 2007, C 350 from the factory in Stuttgart. This experience alone defines the very special nature of the M-B marque. The interior is Ash, M-B Tex. The craftsmanship is superb, from the stitching to material quality, exceptional. The controls, as well as the analog and digital gauges manage and present information in a readily usable format, they are functional and easy to manage while driving. The Iridium Silver Metallic paint, 17' wheels, lowered suspension and AMG appearance components define the aggressive nature of this remarkable automobile. The C 350's performance does not disappoint. It will get to and cruise at 125 mph in short order, with much more to give when called upon. Actual gas mileage, primarily autobahn driving at 100+ mph, has been 28.5 mpg.
Pros: Panoramic sun roof
Cons: Small cargo space
Advice: Enjoy the R-classThe only disappointment on the R-class is the lack of cargo space. My wife and I enjoy the panoramic view and the confortable ride and seating for six. Fuel economy is good for a vehicle this size.
