2007 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class
2007 Mercedes-Benz SLK 350
Pros: the style
Cons: the cruise control set up - I often hit the cruise control instead of my turn signal.
I love my car! I bought it new in 2007, and I have put 20,000 miles on it. I love the way it drives, I enjoy the ease of the convertible hard top operation, and I especially like the gas mileage. It gets about 20 miles per gallon in town and 30 on the highway (cruising at about 60 -65 miles per hour). It is also relatively simple to operate. So far, I have had no mechanical issues. We'll see what happens when the warranty runs out.- Recommend this vehicle to a friend? Yes

2007 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
Pros: Style & comfort
Cons: Cost or repairs & issues.
Cost of Regular Maintenance was $2900 for the 1st 78000km plus too many Warranty repairs. No way I would keep the car without bumper to bumper warranty.- Recommend this vehicle to a friend? No

What's up with the Mercedes C320
Pros: safety features, body style, and the weight of the car
Cons: The way the car jerks sometimes, when excellerating
I have owned my mercedes C320 for three years and going into the third year, I began to experience a jerking (transmission/timing) type of problem. Took the car in for service and to this day, the problem still exists. The dealership service department claim they checked the transmission and cleaned the transmission, the fluid level was fine. But when I had to take it in for service six months later, they claimed that I needed a transmission flush. Now I just want out of this car all together.- Recommend this vehicle to a friend? No
