    2006 Mazda MAZDA6 - i Grand Sport (M5) Sedan

    Pros: How it drives

    Cons: low to the ground

    Advice: none

Much nicer ride and more fun than any van. We are considering buying for the van style doors for easy carseat removal and kid access. We also love the comfort of the seats and the high quality of the drive for the price. Only concerns... low clearance and little cargo space in the back with 6 seats up.

    2005 Mazda MAZDA6 - s Sport (M5) Sedan

Pros: V6 performance with rock solid handling.

Cons: Gas milage (24 mpg avg.)

Advice: Make sure you are satisfied with gas milage and ride comfort

2005 Mazda6s sedan. I did not want a me too Toyota Camry (Yawn) or Honda Accord (no manual trans with 6 cylinder engine in 2005). Looked at Mazda 6, Subaru Legacy GT, Nissan Altimata 3.5 and Chrysler 300C. Chrysler was too big and certainly not the same class as the other vehicles. But I will certainly look at later. Nissan Altima 3.5 wicked fast but little else. Subary Legacy GT was only available with automatic but again very fast, handled good and looked good...but $2-3K more expensive than similar Mazda6. I finall went with the best looking and handling 4 door sedan in this price range. Leather interior wand sport package were the only option I wanted.

    2005 Mazda MAZDA6 - i Base (M5) Sedan

    Pros: Sport-tuned suspension

Cons: slightly smaller back seat than Accord or Camry

Advice: Now go out and get one!

A wonderful car with great suspension, handling and design. This is no sedate family sedan, like your run-of-the-mill Camry or Accord. This car was made for driving while still being roomy and comfortable. I owned a 2000 Maxima before this, but traded it in last week for the Mazda6. You can not compare hamdling as the 6 seems to speak to you on the road. The Mazda6 instills confidence on the road. I highly recommend the Mazda6.

    2004 Mazda Mazda6 - i (M5) Sedan

Pros: Willing engine (V6) and comfortable seats.

    Cons: Paint quality.

Advice: Take a few test drives - vary the type of roads and have a blast!

I fell in love with my '6 GT Sportwagon the first time I drove it. I find the power is seamless and has just the right edge to the exhaust when you boot it! The seats are the best I've sat in and there's just enough head room (I'm 6'2'). My bus is fully loaded and I like the extra security from the side airbags and recommend this option. Handling is great, with prodigious grip from the standard tires. Keep an eye on the speedo...! However, within a few weeks of purchase I had rust/ discoloration at a number of spot welds in the rear hatch areas and it developed a camshaft knock when warm (Mazda have a service bulletin regarding this). Another irritation is a slipstream 'wind-thump' that is most intrusive at speed with the rear windows down, its almost painful for rear seat passengers. Would I change it?..... No chance!. It's the most fun on four wheels this hard core biker could have!

    2005 Mazda MAZDA6 - i (M5) Hatchback

Pros: The appearance and the handling

Cons: The type of oil filter that's used - messy if you change it on your own

Advice: Great car for the money - you'll love the performance

I purchased the 6i 5-door hatchback loaded with everything except for leather seats. The 4 cyl engine has very good acceleration and the handling is Excellent - with the traction control and suspension. Take a test drive on a winding road and you'll see what I mean. I have had the car for the past 6 months with no problems, just pure fun to drive. The only drawback that I find is that, if you do your own oil changes, it gets pretty messy as it uses a cartridge filter instead of canister type. For the money this is an excellent car to buy!!!!!

    2004 Mazda Mazda6 - s (M5) Sedan

    Pros: The cars handling.

Cons: A bit too much of Ford's influence on the interior.

Advice: Get the V-6 with the manual transmission.

If you want a 4 door that handles and stops good, this is a good choice. Especially with the manual tranny. It is a bit down on power and more important, torque, but I am willing to put up with that because of it’s handling. I got pretty much everything I wanted with this car that I couldn’t get with the Nissan’s and Honda’s at the time.

    2004 Mazda Mazda6 - s (M5) Sedan

    Pros: The Drive

    Cons: Cheap interior materials

    Advice: Opt for the V6

I have had the car for 1 year and a half and I still enjoy driving it as much as the first day i got it! Handles great and comfortable suspension for long hauls. I like the fact that it does not look like the average boring family sedan (ex. Accord. The V6 has a sexy growl when pushed. The seats are extremely supportive and at 6 foot 3 it is very easy to find a great driving position. Not all is perfect though, the v6 has disappointing fuel mileage and interior materials easily scratch which is really annoying. Other than these two negatives this car is great!! For any one who wants to have fun while they are driving alone or with the family I strongly recomend test driving this car.
